Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience with direct to consumer marketing and own the marketing plans for games. They will be responsible for driving revenue and users through marketing programs for key game franchises. They will also be responsible for understanding and managing consumer research (gathering market and competitive data, creating data models, analyzing research – both qualitative and quantitative). The successful candidate will be seen as a leader in providing frameworks on how to view the market on specific features, games. This new position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and work closely with marketing and cross-functionally with the PlayFirst website team and game production team.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching - Hands on experience in executing, gathering and communicating research including the following:
    • Data from Beta Games
    • Focus Groups
    • Customer Surveys / Customer Segmentation Analysis
    • Market Research / Competitive / Customer
  • Product Marketing
    • Develop the Marketing Plans
    • Develop and execute Go To Launch Programs
    • Identify and manage ongoing marketing programs to support brand
    • Inputs into the Brand Bible
    • Sales and Site Support for the Games

Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years of post-school experience.
  • 4 year college degree with strong computer skills. MBA preferred.
  • Experience with games, social networking, web2.0 (consumer facing)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Access
  • Detail-oriented person with high sense of accountability and integrity
  • Self starter and can-do attitude; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong analytical skills; results driven
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
