Prior, DeMiroz was president and CEO of Racktivity, a leading cloud platform provider. Before Racktivity, DeMiroz was with Trinity Ventures, focusing on early-stage media, entertainment and energy investments. He was also a Managing Director at Selby Ventures, and led its investments in digital media and Internet sectors. Selby was the one of the founding investors of Pandora. DeMiroz has worked at leading technology companies including Oracle, Sun, Silicon Graphics and General Magic, and his executive roles have encompassed CEO, President, CFO, SVP Business Development and VP Operations.
DeMiroz obtained his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University; where he received a Rockwell Scholarship; a post-graduate Engineer Degree in Aeronautics/Astronautics with a minor in EE from Stanford University; an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University; and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School.
RACHEL HANNAH is the Director of Human Resources at PlayFirst and is responsible for very important assets to the company - the employees. She is responsible for leading the Human Resources department along with supporting the creative culture at PlayFirst that enables its employees to thrive, grow and continue to make chart-topping games. Hannah brings over 10 years of Human Resources and Recruiting experience to PlayFirst. Prior to joining PlayFirst, Hannah spent many years in the animation industry, specifically at Pixar Animation Studios, where she helped grow the company from its "adolescence" into the successful studio it is today.
Hannah holds a B. A. degree in psychology from San Francisco State University.
BECKY ANN HUGHES is the Vice President of Product Management for PlayFirst, Inc. As the head of product, Hughes brings eight years of consumer product marketing experience. She is responsible for guiding product portfolio strategy and driving analytics programs to maximize game monetization, engagement and retention. Prior to Playfirst, Hughes directed Marketing at Black Angus Steakhouse, where she revolutionized their direct response marketing programs and led the re-positioning strategy that resulted in the successful turnaround of the Black Angus Steakhouse brand.
Hughes holds a B.S. degree in business from San Jose State University.
CHRIS WILLIAMS is the Vice President of Products & Strategy at PlayFirst and has spent more than 13 years dedicated to the interactive entertainment industry. Previously, Williams was with LucasArts Entertainment, where he rose through the ranks to become a member of exec staff and lead the development teams on several highly successful Star Wars and Indiana Jones games across a variety of platforms. Since joining PlayFirst, Chris has rapidly grown the iOS business by launching some of PlayFirst's best known titles such as Cooking Dash, Diner Dash, Diner Dash: Grilling Green, Wedding Dash, and Hotel Dash to the top of the charts and has established Dash as one of the most successful gaming franchises in the App Store. More recently he has guided PlayFirst’s shift into freemium mobile gaming with the launch of the iOS original title DinerTown Zoo.
Williams received a Bachelors of Architecture degree from Cornell University.

BRAD EDELMAN is a lifelong software developer and entrepreneur. He squandered much of his childhood programming his Apple ][+ and endured many years of "geek ridicule" before the Internet managed to make computers cool. Brad was the CTO/co-founder of PlayFirst, the pioneering casual games publisher (go Diner Dash!), and the creator of the Indy hit game, Triclops. Prior to PlayFirst, Brad drank Diet Coke while his fingertips typed the code that added video to Macromedia Flash. He also worked on several versions of Adobe PageMill. Brad holds twelve patents and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
NATE REDMOND is a Partner at Rustic Canyon Partners, where he focuses on Internet/media and Cleantech. Before joining Rustic Canyon, Mr. Redmond managed investments and advisory work for Professor Clayton Christensen at the Harvard Business School. Previously, Mr. Redmond co-founded an Internet infrastructure company and helped launch two other early web companies. Mr. Redmond began his career with the Boston Consulting Group as a consultant to technology firms on new product development and business strategy. Mr. Redmond received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and holds two degrees (M.S.E. and B.S.E.) from The University of Michigan College of Engineering, where he was an Entrepreneurial Fellow in the Engineering Global Leadership Honors Program.
JANICE ROBERTS is a Managing Director of Mayfield and PlayFirst board member. As a seasoned venture capitalist, she invests in networking components and systems, mobile communications and consumer-oriented companies. Prior to joining Mayfield, Janice built a successful early-stage investment portfolio as president of 3Com Ventures. She also led 3Com's global marketing and business development operation and ran a number of the company's new business initiatives, including the highly successful Palm Computing subsidiary. Previously, Janice was managing director and president of BICC Data Networks LTD., which was acquired by 3Com in 1992. Janice holds an honors degree in commerce (economics and finance) from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She serves on the advisory board of the INSEAD Business School U.S. Council and supports the Entrepreneurs Foundation and the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs.
GUS TAI is a General Partner at Trinity Ventures and PlayFirst board member. Gus has specialized in funding early stage companies pioneering new market categories. He particularly enjoys getting involved at the time of company formation, working with founders to help build the team and refine the business model. Gus is a graduate from Harvard University where he majored in Applied Mathematics. In 1989, he was awarded a "Leaders for Manufacturing" Fellowship to attend MIT, where he received an M.B.A from the Sloan School of Management and an M.S. from the Department of Materials Science. Gus is a Director of the MIT Club of Northern California and the Chinese Software Professionals Association.
