Hi everybody! I've been at PlayFirst since last November, but this is my first Grapevine post.
I've been noticing some recent correlations between events in my life and the games we're providing here at PlayFirst...
The first is that my fiance and I are currently planning our wedding - it's coming up quickly now next spring. Luckily, here we have Wedding Dash to play as an inspiration (or, maybe it's a welcome distraction!)
And then - my younger sister is an avid mahjong player. When I told her last week about our new game Mahjong Roadshow and its antiquing theme - she pointed out that she actually bought her beloved mahjong set at an antique store.
Probably the most direct correlation between me and the games we're launching is this game that I'm working on and that we're all wrapping up for you right now. I can't wait to play it with all of you soon!
Have any of you had any games correlate to events in your life? Tell us about it!
As sorbet said (in this post: www.playfirst.com/forums/threa d/24411) I'll again confirm that the game is not yet completed. We are still very busy putting the finishing touches on the game and some new site features as well. I also wanted to thank those of you who are First Peek participants. Your feedback was instrumental in helping us improve the game, and we thank you for that and for your continued patience!
I remember how exciting it was to finally play with the community on the first day of First Peek, and I can't wait for the game to launch so that we can all play together.

Hi, sunpath. Nice blog, fortunately I play games that don't correlate with my life. I love the distraction because when playing games, I can totally forget the chaos of my life while being emersed in the developers strategy of the game. Like now, everyone wants Diner Dash Hometown Hero. I'm playing another game to keep my mind off the fact that we don't know when PlayFirst will release it, and apparently there is nothing we can do to motivate PlayFirst to release or tell us when it will be released. I'm sorry for that because I purchased LDW's new release, its very involved. So involving that I has totally forgotten about Diner who?

I'm assuming sun path you are Rebekah? Anyway that comment wasn't just directed totally to you. I guess what everyone doesnt want to here is "we are working on it, working late nights, etc." Just give us a date, thats all. I don't like working weekends either, but sometimes exceptions have to be made. Support emails don't get answered in 2-3 business days anyway, so what makes the difference if you release the game friday or monday? Anyway, i'm not trying to cause trouble, just aggravated like everyone else.
This blog post makes no sense. The game is wrapped up, what is the delay? I understand that everyone has worked hard at Playfirst to get this game ready, but please dont lead these other people on. Bottom line.....game is completed. I wish there would have been a blog entry stating why the game wont be released til next week.
