If you are a FirstPeek member, you've probably already had a chance to play one of our upcoming games, Dream Chronicles. In the game, the main character has a difficult time distinguishing between her life-like dreams and reality.
Has this ever happened to you? I can't think of a good example but I once woke up after I punched the wall next to my bed. Luckily I didn't punch the wall too hard but it startled me and got me out of bed fast. The sad thing is that I couldn't remember anything about my dream after i woke up Was I taking a self defense class? Was I horsing around with friends? I'll never know... but I still laugh about that one every now and then.
Tell us about your funniest or strangest dreams by posting a comment to this blog entry and we'll send you a coupon for 25% off Dream Chronicles to celebrate all dreams weird and wonky! You will need to submit your dream by June 10th, 6 PM PST. (Please limit your post to 500 characters and keep in mind that this is a family friendly environment. All entries are governed by our Terms of Service and will be publicly viewable. Only one coupon will be emailed per PlayFirst account; coupon will be mailed around June 11)
Dream on...

I had a dream that I was driving my brand new car around and had a really bad accident. Then all of a sudden I was with one of my friends from when I was younger. We were hanging out as usual and then I just knew I had to get home quickly. I then woke up. When I woke up, my boyfriend told me that I was being very wild in my sleep. He said at one point it even looked like I was driving a car while laying down.

I had a dream where I woke from a dream within a dream but it's very vivid and realistic with minor fuzzy edges. I dreamed I woke up suddenly in bed to found that my radio boom box was on and a channel music talk show was sharing information on some sort of spirit that turned into a human form to ensnare their food source. Well, that male person was telling the radio person that it was true and it exists. That really freak me out in this dream. I could feel raw undiluted fear overwhelm me after I heard what the person said. When I woke up the fear was still with me. Scary. If you want to know it's a some sort of cat spirit or demon that will do something to you at night when you are with it's mortal body. I heard the story from one of my friend at the same day too and never thought much of it afterwards. This just sort of confirming that it was true.

My dreams are usually very vivid and I tend to remember them for years. One dream was ongoing for months when I was leaving a relationship. I was a refugee, fleeing from a war-torn country. My father was on the other side of an invisable line. No matter how hard I ran, I couldn't get to him. It was very tense and I always woke up exhausted afterwards.

Another one of my favorites was right after I got my first computer, and I was playing A LOT of Doom. I was flying around this tall, monolithic house, shooting at Doom monsters inside. I would fly from window to window and pick them off with my big ol' Doom gun, and it was actually really tense, and kinda scary. All of a sudden I realized, "Holy cr*p, I'm FLYING!" and I dropped my gun and flew away.

This is my favorite dream ever! I was in a small airplane with 4 other people. We're just sitting there, silent and waiting, when Michael J. Fox emerges from the cockpit door. He starts making his way down the aisle, placing a small object in everyone's outstretched hand. When he gets to me, I see that it's a small, yellow pill. Michael then says "I don't know how many milligrams these are, but you're gonna want to take them because we're gonna be flying by the seat of our pants." Then my alarm went off, and I didn't get to take my pill, OR fly by the seat of my pants.

I love Play First games but like many of you the price is a little steep and the demo time is a little short. Maybe someday the powers that be will get the hint and see that they can make it better and cheaper for their consumers.

I had a dream once where I could fly like Superman. All I had to do was concentrate and zoom! there's I'd be flying high. It seemed so real, I could feel the wind blowing through my hair and how the gravity felt when I spun in circles. When I woke up I was so dissapointed that it wasn't true. It was really awesome!

I had a dream that I was a whale. Swimming in the ocean exploring and free. Then my daughter woke me up. I loved that dream no one telling me what to do and no responsibility!
