Hello, I am one of the engineers who worked on Daycare Nightmare 2. We
are aware of the Lost Upgrades issue and have fixed the problem. The
product is undergoing a rigorous QA pass to ensure there are no further
issues, then it will be replacing the current, flawed, version. I can
assure you that PlayFirst takes this very seriously and has everyone
working on getting the fixed version out as soon as humanly possible.
I
am not an employee of PlayFirst. I work for Floodgate, LLC, the
development company that actually made the app. So I don't know how
users who already bought it will get the new version. I presume there
will be some way to upgrade to the fixed version for free. If not, I
will return and post a link to a hacked save-game that has tons of
money for the main account, allowing people to buy back their upgrades.

Hello. I am the programmer for casual mechanics. I assume PF has a method of delivering an update but if not you could deliver it via a patch using the main version as the base... this would stop it from being pirated and enable FG to deliver the solution if need be.

Thank you for the update, hopefully it will just be as easy as downloading the game again and reinstalling it.

While you are making a new updated version, why don't you add the global high score feature and medals....The game would have sold 10X as much with these features, i can't believe any of your testers didn't see this upgrade issue before the release....makes you think if they are really good at what they do....

Hey, folks. The fix that will take care of the Lost Upgrades bug has been released. Here is the message posted by PlayFirst in the other tread:

"I know people are really anxious to get a fixed version of the game,
and it's here!    We got an approved final fix this afternoon.
 
The
game is supposed to auto-update when you open it.  So, if everything
goes perfectly, it will automatically download the new version the next
time you play.   If it doesn't for whatever reason, just download a new
copy and reinstall.  Customer Support can even reset your unlock codes
if you need it."

So it looks like the issue is resolved. Thank you all for your patience and we apologize for the bug.

What about if you bought the game from another site like Big Fish Games?  Will it still install the new version when you open it?  Is that possible?

No because this game is an exclusive to Playfirst. If you bought the game on Big Fish Games then you must have purchased the first game.

Well that's kool that the upgrades issue is being worked on.
