Hints for Fitness Dash

Posted: November 4, 2008 at 11:23
USE the stretching mats at every opportunity. If people are waiting for a machine, put them on a mat. You get matching points each time - this makes a huge difference!

I found the best strategy was to put two people on machines, give them towels (when the option came up), put another two people on (assuming the options match).

Once they've finished their workout, and they're NOT on max happiness, put them on a mat and feed them water - two bottles and they'll go from one heart to 5. then put them in the showers.

Don't bother with water while they're at a machine unless they are about to leave. If you want to hurry someone up, personal train them, or better still give them a snack from the snack machine - I find the best ones to give the snack to are the ones with 2-3 "targets" - a snack will complete them all in full.

Hope that helps! (I'm most of the way through the second gym - working on it hard)!.

I'm only up to the third gym, but here are some more tips. Sorry if I repeat any.

1. If you don't have a shower or piece of equipment open then put them on an exercise mat.

2. Service the bodybuilder as soon as you can. He has a long workout so you might need to help him along.

3. You can give out water bottles to people waiting on the exercise mats. Even if people ask for orange juice or a towel first you can still give them a water bottle to make them happy.

4. You can chain handing out towels. You can chain picking up towels. You can chain cleaning off the machines. You can chain picking up water bottles.

5. You get points for giving out water and recycling the bottles.

6. So far I've only used 2 showers to maximize points. But I have used 3 exercise mats.

7. I thought getting expert on the first two gyms was manageable. But the third gym is more challenging.

ok - I am only on 1.4 and can't get expert no matter what I do - did I screw up when I bought the decoration for the gym to make it look nicer? - should I have spent the money on upgrades first then the decor? - if so I will restart the game and do it right this time - I do use the exercise mats as mu7ch as possible but it is hard when you have four people in line and I always try to have an orange juice on hand just in case - but I am obviously doind somthing wrong the closest I can get is 4200 and I need 4500 to get expert - and I love to try to get expert on all the levels so ant advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi Mommykaer! :)

I could be wrong about this, but I think you need to focus the money on the equipment first and not the decor. I was able to get expert on the first gym and I never bought any decor at all. By the time I had any money to do so, it was time to move on to the next gym. LOL

I would suggest trying it without the decor purchases and see what happens. This is such a cute game.  Have fun! :)

Have a wonderful day! ☺

I am up to level 4.9 and have expert on all levels so far so I will share what tips I feel are important - some may be repeats but that will emphasize their importance:

1. Always have snacks available so you can give to a person sweating who is ticking off the other customers - that way you get the sweaty person done and out of there fast.

2. Have orange juice ready also since it takes a few seconds to make.

3. Use stretching mat before you move person to next station to get more matching points.

4. Since the TV is the only way to make the people on line happy, and since you can only change channels per request - make sure people don't stand on line too long - try to keep stretching mats open. If somebody on line is about to leave, try to move to a stretching mat and then you can give them a drink to up the hearts.

5. Forget the decor - use all money on upgrades. I find it is more important to buy all new equipment to have more available before you start upgrading existing equipment. Once you have maximum machines, then upgrade them.  Also, the snack machine takes forever to bake so upgrade that ASAP. Speed upgrade on Jo is important too.

6. Try to have one machine, mat and shower per color - that way you get color-match on each move.

If I think of more, I will post more.

Sharon

Sharon, thanks for the tips!!!! I was stuck on 4.4 and couldn't make goal. Once I used your strategy of putting all the customers on a matching mat before they exercise, I made expert on this level. Your tips are awesome!! Let us know how you do on level 5. Thanks again!! Pinky
