That’s all that was addressed to me.  Now this
topic has come to personal attacks against me and NTAV3; and assuming
who I think you are, that’s so childish and unprofessional for you to
behave in this way.   I’ve never heard of such silly-ness in all my
life.  Good luck on getting people to buy your games.

Famous

criticism for their books on their forums and they’ve never, ever gone
so far as to complain about them.

What
you really should do-puppetry or whoever you are-is do one of two
things.  Ignore the rumors if you think they are rumors.  Or listen to
them and think about why people are thinking that way and perhaps make
some changes for the betters to make them change their way of
thinking.
Continuing to bash them and not let them share their opinions (whether
their right or wrong) will only get you in trouble and make you lose
business. (And I’ve reported these rude posts to Playfirst staff so
they will take care of this very soon.)

Oh.
Interesting that you use the word ‘sparkle,’ seeing as how I thought
that you never heard of Twilight before.  Very interesting. :-/

Aww... dear Lady, your attentions make me feel so wanted. ;) But no, unfortunate as it sounds, I am not puppetry :) If you've read our posts, you'd know that.

Re the "I had one of my friends who used to to be a member there tell me how
she talked to the developer herself and she responded with an attitude
and didn’t do anything bout it.  What kind of a business owner responds
to clients not to bother them?" I was wondering if you could list the exact interaction between them? Interpretations of facts often vary from one person to another :D

"Forums--yeah, don’t like how things are covered up by deleting posts,
telling lies, rather than being open and telling the truth. I saw it happen in my time there"
Oh? So on the one hand, "covering up" some things at a site meant to be PG-13, in other words protecting the younger children from adult fights which should have never been made public, and on the other hand, truth that very few children are ready to understand? Either way, it's a lose-lose situation you're painting. How bleak! Don't worry though, I'm sure the adult grapevine fills up the blanks pretty well ;)

Sides, deleted posts would still leave traces. Blocking things from memory, now that's a little harder. Play Eternal Eden to find out how!

Hmm... there's a huge chasm between attacking personally and asking questions. I'm sorry you feel so sensitive that you thought I was attacking you :) Dear me.

Oh, are we not supposed to address rumours if they are false? Oh my, and I thought you prized honesty too! How silly of me :) I believe Amaranth Games receive and act upon constructive suggestions. So if you have a viable alternative, why not? :)

And as I've mentioned before, I am not puppetry, so I *have* heard of Twilight before. Haha :D

I enjoy sparring with you m'dear. May our encounters always be as memorable :)

Yes, I'm afraid you're barking up the wrong tree there - again.  Ynyr and I are not the same person, I haven't seen/read Twilight and I'm afraid the "sparkle" reference is lost on me.

I am choosing to ignore the rumours.  I know where they began now, and I have confirmation that forum members have not left over this as you've implied.  And though you seem to think otherwise, I do have plenty of other things to keep occupied with - how 'bout you?

By all means, chat to Playfirst.  IF you are the person I suspect you are, they will be familiar with your frequent complaints.  Nobody slings mud around and then goes crying to the grown-ups when someone slings a bit back :)  All I did was post some facts about some unfounded rumours that were started by .... now who did start those again?  Oh, that's right ;)

Hi everyone, this is Amanda, the gal who is behind the Aveyond games. I thought I should chime in to help settle the air.
I'll do my best to help
everyone understand the mystery behind the naming of Aveyond 3: Lord of
Twilight, the naming of Gypsy's Tale, and the mystery of the December
mystery game on amaranthia.com. :-)
You, it is very
possible that I subconciencly came up with the name "Lord of Twilight"
after I saw the title of the book Twilight. If the books came out in
2005, this is definately possible. For about a year and a half, I was
playing around with names for Aveyond 3. I thought of calling it
Aveyond 3: Mel's Quest, but I had two other subtitles in my head that
wouldn't go away: Gates of Twilight and Shadow Gate. On the forums at
my site, players were pretty adamant that Te'ijal from Aveyond 1 should
come back. As I plotted and outline last spring, I thought it would be
cool to have her fight a very tough vampire lord at the end. When I
decided this, Lord of Twilight snapped into my head and refused to
leave. So much mystery! I loved it! So there you go. :-)
Let's
see, what's next? Gypsy's Tale... Yep, this is going to be a very
beautiful adventure game, but with a lot of dry humor in it. You're
going to laugh like crazy when you "save" the "princess" in the middle
of the game. *cackles wickedly*
Hmmm, but where did
this name come from? In fact, I did pick the name because I wanted
something like Tale or Quest or Adventure in the title. I am a huge
Kings Quest fan, and I'm drawn to the word quest like a bee to honey.
Unfortunately every game company on earth has taken every possible
Quest title that I could have used. Even the very generic "Adventure
Quest" was snapped up by a company a couple of years ago. I can
probably list 20 game companies with games that have the word "Quest"
in the title. A new word that has popped up recently is Tale. Like
Quest, I loved the imagery tied to "Tale", so it was very important
that "Tale" was in the name of this game. I've been very vocal about
this name because I was afraid if I didn't publicize it, a big company
like Microsoft, Ubisoft, or EA Games would snap it up before I released
my game and there is NO way I could fight them for the rights of such a
cool name if they wanted to take it from me.
Next,
the mystery game. I play a lot of game, but the "mystery" game was the
first non-amaranthia game that I thought would appeal to most Aveyond
players. The game is called Eternal Eden, and since the release of this
game on my site, it has sold like mad. For good or bad, there are
players who like Eternal Eden over Aveyond.
Many of
you don't know this, but one of my favorite things to do is to help
overlooked, talented independent developers, become sucessful
independent game developers. In fact, Dave Gilbert, the creator of
Emerald City Confidential and Blackwell Legacy and an IGF finalist for
best new game companies was one of the first developer's I helped! So
to make a long story short, I found this amazing guy who made this
incredible game called Eternal Eden last August. I loved the game and
thought it would take off, but it didn't because no one knew it was
available. In November I contacted him and he said things weren't going
so well. He was out of money, and to my horror, only eating everyother
day to survive. He had put every cent and ounce of his strength into
his game. So I helped him because I wanted to see him succeed. You can find the game on amaranthia.com, but I am sure it will come to the casual game portals some time soon.
Make peace, not war everyone! If you have any questions about Aveyond, etc,
just email me directly and I'll do my best to explain any fears you may
have (admin@amaranthia.com)
Now hug and make up. Life is too short to fight with each other. And go play games!!!
:D

What's so funny? =.=
*From those bunch of posts, you just pulled my last straw*
If you laugh, it shows that you have no respect on other's opinion and mine.
On top of that what this AV3 got to do with the origin of Harry Potter's name? Since when did I argue about names?
Since when me and my friend disatisfied with Amaranthia? It was just opinion, ever heard of the greatest movie on earth gets worst critics from viewers?
Now, AV3 is the third installment, obviously there's chances a person would hate it after playing the first two games.
Who wouldn't when the first two games were badly priced when its worstly made? (Sorry since you just laughed at me I would have to push the button)
Did I mentioned something like "Holy Cow, its Aveyond: Lord of Twilight! OMG! They stole the idea from the movie, they are so get pwned"
I never make a BIG FUSS about names and would you stop ganging up on my friend?
Like, what the heck? Like I didn't know that Te'ijal and Galahad aren't the main characters. I read that like...last year =.=
To Ynyr:
You seriously (and seriously) made a flaw. Like I don't know you're puppetry or whatever. Want me to point it out?
- Firstly, your join date is so like on Friday. Chances are high that you are the same person as puppetry that you registered one immediately and reply a backup post.
- Your fake ~acting~ isn't going to fool me. If you're a hardcore fan of AV3, you wouldn't laugh for your first post. As far I know, an AV fan would definitely say "I can't wait for AV3 to come out" first before they start laughing at the anti-AVs. If you don't think you are someone like that, then you're a sarcastic one.
- No way on earth two person who doesn't know each other and not one another would mention "Oh, I am not (insert name)" while the other member mentioned the same sentence. Or at least, they won't start their post with that "Oh, (insert name) is definitely not me" defense.
- Often that both would say something that go against each other's thought but one of you just jump in and reply with a long post stating the same opinion. It clearly shows that the two people are the same, or at least, an accomplice or a friend.
- From your first post, there were many links. A newbie (by chances) WOULD NOT start their first post with something so detail like links and attack other members with it.
- How on earth that the Admin from Amaranthia know about this topic? Chances are SOMEONE must have told them about this topic. In that case it's you, ynyr/puppetry or should I say you're another one of those Amaranthia admins I've heard about.
I've pinned every mistake you make in your post (you know, those fake acting and all) and don't you think you can cover it up by saying its not true. Even a monkey wouldn't fall for your lame trick.
Yeah, what's with that look on your face? You want to get me banned for this? You wouldn't want to do that right?
Listen ynyr/puppetry, if you going to reply to argue with me or trying to cover things up, you're no better than a devil so the world is better off without you.

lolz you're good :D but I'm really not puppetry. We don't even live in the same hemisphere, and she's married, I'm not. XD
Ah,
what's wrong with laughter? I'm told it's the best medicine. And well,
I wasn't laughing at anyone actually :D Just the situation :D Oh dear,
are you sensitive too? My apologies :)
Hmm... if I'm not
mistaken, the name quibbling is on page 2. But nah, it wasn't the BIG
FUSS you thought I thought it was :) though I like your "they are so
get pwned" phrase. May I borrow it sometime? :D
Ganging up?
*thinks* I thought it was strictly Q&A. Ah yes, I forgot you two
are such sensitive souls. Again, my apologies :) Should've phrased my
sentences better.
*reads through the rest of the post*
Hmm... *sigh* and I thought personal comments would be temporarily suppressed until the next election campaign. My bad.
1. See first paragraph.
2. Would you really prefer me to go all "YAY GO AV3! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU!"?
3.
I didn't think you were anti-AV, just not having enough info, which I
*tried* to rectify in my first post by providing linkies. Ah well,
there goes my youth XD (mental note to self: try not to be so helpful
next time) Should've noticed your username sooner.
3. I know puppetry, yes. As for accomplice... *looks at puppetry, then grins* thanks for the inspiration NTAV3! :)
4. Wasn't aware that it was a crime for admins to know about public topics. Apologies.
5. Hmm... well mistakes are common. Apologising is harder.
lolz, if only Xelloss was here :D Ah well, back to AV3!
P.S.
As for your "you're no better than a devil so the world is better off
without you", try telling Him that, since He doesn't listen when I do
XD See you around! *hugs and kisses*

You're sickening, Ynyr. Get lost will you?
I can't believe some pathetic human like you would register an account here just to get into someone's business and explain nonsense, how low have you sunk? You're nothing better than the two pathetic members who once cause havoc in Amaranth Games. Yeah you want to know further? They both MODERATORS for goodness sake, what kind of admin would let moderators flame and taunt people, honestly?
Also the way you said will all the sickening words is just as pathetic as the two of them.
Heck no I'm going to accept your apology. From the way you reply, I can tell you're not serious about it.
In the first place, I didn't really hated AV3 that much and now you just make me hate it to the end. Same goes to Amaranth Games, I hate it more now thanks to you insensible pathetic words, Ynyr.
Like, what's so big deal about AV3 anyway? Like a person would pay for a game like this when someone else can make a better game than this for free...
It's like this AV series brainwashed people into becoming a crazy fan of it.
Yeah ynyr, you just crossed the line for messing up the situation. I really don't care the hells and fuss the admins make about my post since they literally mentioned to everyone that they ~Don't mind what the critics said~
Well, since you said you weren't puppetry or any accomplice or whatever, then go away! You only brought this up yourself. If you're that persistent and keep on making all those stupid jokes, fine, go ahead. I faced many people who make me angry and you're one of them, you're going to regret this because this isn't just what going to happen. There's a bigger one.

To Amaranth Game admins:
Sorry for letting you see this, but I do hope you can shut this Ynyr up.
I will apologize ONLY if that person leave this topic alone. If this person is a member of Amaranth Games, just ban him/her. You failed to ban 'those two' back then at the forum, I'm sure you don't want to make any more mistakes that caused you to have more enemy than you have.

Hello everyone,

This is whitepriestess here or as some have pointed out, phoenix.  In a way, it is quite flattering to see my name pointed out, even if it is in a negative manner.  I see that I need to clear some things up.  :)

First off, I would like to apologize to LadyCara.  LadyCara (is it ok if I can call you LC?), I am very sorry that there has been some confusion here.  I was ghosting Playfirst (sometimes I do that) and although I do not post on the forums anymore (due to my busy work schedule and other activities that I have going on), I happened to stumble upon this thread.  Like any Aveyond fan, I'm looking forward to AV3 and then I noticed this thread and then saw how messy it was becoming so I thought it would be best for me to step in and clear up the matter once and for all.  So I wanted to apologize to you for any confusion that some have accused you of being me.  It was uncalled for and I hope that you can accept my apology for this.

I see that Amanda and shaz have posted here as well.  How are you two doing?  I have heard progress about AV3 and am very happy that it's going well.  Keep up the good work and I can't wait until the game comes out.  I'll be sure to try it out and assuming that I like it (which I'm sure I will), I'll buy it right away (assuming that I have enough money, that is).

(I'm not sure how much character space I have left so I will make another post after this one.)

Peace, love, and happiness to all. :)
