after a certain point is it necessary to put wood on the fire? when i click on the fire, it doesn't say how many hours are left anymore

I've always gotten an "hours left" message, and I'm way past the official end of the game...it doesn't give the message if you have a stew going - could that be it?

no it just stopped showing...i'll try exiting the game...thanks

or maybe..... well.... sometimes you need more wood and grass...try that.
