Level 5-8 impossible?

Posted: January 5, 2009 at 04:57
I have tried EVERYTHING on this level and I can't even make the goal. I don't care about expert. I just want to pass the stupid level. Help please. I can't chain much as customers get too angry. Nothing I do works. Matching colors? Tried it. Giving water? tried it. Giving snacks? tried it. Nothing works. I lost at least 10 customers. Not enough people will ask for the tv and there is no way to keep customers in line from leaving. I am using the mats but since I have only three I cna only do such much at a time. The clicking and glitches are terrible

Have you seen to the most impatient customers first? If you can, put the most impatient on the mats first because that way, as your seeing to other customers their hearts don't go down. Even if they're on half a heart try and give them loads of water on the mat before moving them.

They all seem impatient to me. That is the problem. And expect for the tv there is nothing to keep them happy in line and the tv is not requested often.

The bookworms, seniors, young girls from Diner Dash, and the moms are pretty patient.  It's the businesswomen and the high maintenance ladies you must service first.

One of the problems is that there is nothing to give the people in line to keep them happy. And, I agree, it seems like the people in line are bursting into flames right and left and there is nothing you can do. I click my brains out and can't get the goal. I can't get the losses below 10. I wish someone had a real good solution for this because I don't see finishing this game at all.

I posted this in your thread about loving/hating this game, but reposted here in case you're looking to follow up mccluskey.

"I thought I would replay and try to help since Debz spoke so highly of me.  I'm not sure if you're trying to pass the level or get expert.  Of course, I also do not know how much money you have nor how many upgrades you have/can purchase.  If you don't have enough for the up grades, do as Debz said and replay a few earlier levels to get more money.

Anyway, here are the upgrades I played with:
*all machines to 3 stars
*Jo to 3 stars
*water, towels, and muffins to 3 stars
*juice to 2 stars
*one shower to 2 stars, other two at 1 star

I played the top 2 left-hand machines as yellow, top 2 right-hand machines as red, and the two bottom machines blue.

As the level states before it starts, you can't train everybody, so be sure you tend to the brides, businesswomen, and actresses at all times.  They all use 2 machines and pay the most.  If you lose 2-4 of the other type of customers, you should still get by.

Be sure you put the customers on their colored mat before, between, and after exercises.
As I mentioned to Debz, I always give the soccer mom a muffin before she even asks for a towel, so she will clear out and still pay well.  You can also do this for the bookworms if you have time.
Double click the juice machine every time you get juice, so you never run out of juice.
Pick up towels and bottles every chance you get.
Give water before customers leave to boost their hearts and your pay.

Toward the end, you may have to make a third machine blue to keep from losing customers.  By then, you should be approaching expert, so don't worry about messing up your bonuses.

Well, I think that's about all I have to suggest.  Please don't give up.  You can do it! :)
