My regular computer had to be taken to the shop for repairs. It is still there, and was there when Choc3 was released. I could not wait, and installed it on another computer. I was almost done with the entire game when I went on an outing and someone who I know started his turn on the computer. When I came back, the game had been completely erased from the computer. The computer often freezes, as it did when I left. The person who was using the computer says that when it wouldn't turn on, it offered to do a recovery to repair it, or something like that. He doesn't remember the exact words. And probably as a result of that, the game is gone. Now I have no idea what to do. I can't understand the jargon attached to the activation code, and I have several days until the backup CD gets here. When it does, my regular computer might still be in the shop.

You have unlock keys in your profile.   Download the game again and just use it again to unlock the game when promted.  It shouldn't be a problem :)

Like I said, I do not understand the jargon attached to the unlock key. "Unlock key can only be used three times on single computer." What does that mean?

If  you've already downloaded and unlocked the game three times you'll need to email PF support and put in a special request to be able to unlock it again. Tell them what happened. Sometimes they will work with you in special circumstances. Just keep in mind it will probably be your last time to download it.

This is another reason why I want to buy a boxed set of Decadence by Design!
If I had a boxed set, I would really own it!  If I had to completely do a clean install on my computer, and I had a boxed edition of this game, all I would do is install the game without ever having to contact support.  Why is there no boxed editions of this game?
I have Chocolatier I and II in these boxed editions.
