Little purple box??

Is anyone else having a problem with this game? I downloaded the game and it works but there is a purple box that surrounds the cursor. I reinstalled the game andactually had to do a system restore yesterday and reinstalled the game today and Im still having the same problem. The only thing I can come up with is that this is a Vista problem is there anyone else with Vista installed having problems with this game?
