I went to buy a game today and it wouldn't give me the PlayPass discount, even though it showed that the game was eligible for the discount. It kept asking if I wanted to sign up for PlayPass. I have been a member of PlayPass since December 10th(PlayPass Enrollemnt) and was charged for December 10th, and January 10th, but I didn't cancel the membership and now http s://www.playfirst.com/secure/myPlayPass.html says I am not a Member. As of January 21st I was a member and I am confused as to how my membership got cancelled. Does the membership cancel itself ever?

yes it does cancel after the 3 months, but if you joined in december, then your 3 months wouldn't be up yet, I would email support to ask them.

I cancelled my PlayPass but for a different reason, so when my 3 months were up it was canceled I went looking in the help files and this is what I found, I'm copying it direct from the play pass help page

The PlayPass starts off with a three-month commitment, but becomes
month to month thereafter. Your PlayPass will automatically renew every
month, with recurring charges of $13.95 for the PlayPass Deluxe or
$9.95 for the PlayPass Basic, unless you decide to cancel it. The
PlayGold you get from your PlayPass has no expiration date and remains
in your account until you spend it at Playfirst.com,
provided that your PlayFirst account is not terminated by PlayFirst,
Inc. for any reason, such as violation of PlayFirst Inc.'s Terms of
Service. In the unlikely event that we ever discontinue the PlayPass,
you will be notified immediately and entitled to the associated
benefits for the remainder of any period for which you have already
paid. If you cancel our PlayGold program, we will provide you with an
opportunity to redeem your remaining balance (see PlayGold FAQ).
