Hi All,

I know I seen another post regarding this level and read it and tried all the tips that was suggested, yet I still cannot pass this level and been trying for 3 days.

I am about ready to give up.

I can get sooo close to the passing score but will always be a couple hundred points off.

Anybody have any more tips or suggestions for this level?
I feel like the guy is running in slo-mo.. he is sooo slow a worm could crawl faster than this guy can walk.

Any hints or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
embrisa.

First of all you should replay level 5.2 and 5.1 as you get to keep the cash when you replay and you can buy more of the upgrades.  I just replayed this level and you have the distraction phone but not the teddy bear or music box on the playpen.  You can still keep their heart levels up by using the distraction phone every time it charges.  I used it very often and all babies left with full hearts.   You should also turn off the sound completely and focus on your colors.  Put all one color (i.e. pink) on the right side of the chairs, walkers and cribs and the other color (i.e. blue) on the left.  This worked well for me throughout the whole game since the chairs, walkers and cribs are always in the same spots.  Try to use just one of each for pink and one of each for blue.  You get higher swapping/chaining bonuses this way.  You may once in a while have to set a baby down in a second chair, walker or crib but very seldom.  Do it if you need to and only then.  Try to get their hearts fully charged before you return them to parents.  Clean the diaper table while  a diaper is being changed.  Then you won't get stuck holding a baby that won't go on there or having to put one down in the wrong place.   Hope this makes sense.  I can visualize what I'm saying but may not be saying it well. Anyway, hope this helps some.  Good luck, and happy gaming!!!

Embrisa,  I just realized you are new to the forums.  Welcome to PF, and nice to meet you!! I also wanted to say that I think by this level you probably have all the upgrades already so disregard replaying earlier levels to buy them. lol. Have fun and I hope you get it soon.

Pinky, I thought you did well at explaining lol and the replaying the levels beforehand is a good idea.

Embrisa, I will say that the swapping is the most important part. If you have a kid who needs a diaper change, and one waiting to get a bottle and the one who needs the diaper change is in the feeding chair, take advantage of that and pick up the kid who needs the bottle and swap them. Also I always left a kid in the diaper bit until another one needed a diaper change, this way you get the swap bonus. Swapping bonuses are bigger for boys swapping with boys and girls with girls, so if you have a boy and a girl needing their diaper changed, but a boy at the diaper station, swap the boy for the boy as it gets more points. I don't think it's possible to get expert on this level, I had to play on through until 5-5 when you get the faster shoes, and then go back and replay with them for expert. It's cause Wilson's so slow. This was the hardest round by far, even the last round was easier than this and you need to get 10,000 points for expert. Anyway, good luck and I hope this helps. Debz :)

Don't worry, about a thing. Cause every little thing's gonna be alright... :D

Thank you both for the great advice.

Most of this I have been doing.  At times, I will realize I let the diaper table build up and cannot change a kid until I clean it and get into a mess.. but that doesn't happen often.

Also, I will re-play 5.2 .. because did not get a gold on that one either.

Grrr.. I don't know if I will ever pass this without a lot of luck.

Thanks for the warm welcoming.. I will look for you both at Flo's. Maybe we can munch of a floburger. hehe.

Take care,
embrisa.

Pinky thanks for mentioning that you can clean the diaper table while the baby is being changed cause that has been giving me fits.  Will give it another go.

Uggh...
I did the biggest booboo of all.. I have been talking about 5.4. duh!
I even had it written down right in front of my face so I would get it right and I still got it wrong. LOL.
Anyway, I am stuck on 5.4, not 5.3... but this advice  could help on any of these levels, so no big loss.

I did go and try to pass this level again and again and again.. still with no luck. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I did finally pass level 5.2, which did give me a few extra dollars for another upgrade... but obviously did not help me.

This game was pretty smoothe going until level 5.. I kept thinking to myself.. "this is too easy for Playfirst, sooner or later they going to throw a doozey at me.. " and they did. LOL.

I am off to try again. If anybody comes up with any new tips or tricks... please pass them along.

Thanks a bunch,
embrisa

Hi, embrisa!  Do you have all the upgrades on 5.4 yet?  If not, I would go back and replay some of the previous levels in this daycare and buy more upgrades.  You really need to have the five diaper changing table and have the cleaning robot maxed out on charges.  Also, on this level you now have the distraction phone, teddy bear, and storyteller thing so use all of them to your full advantage.  Also click on the cleaning robot as soon as he is charged so you get the bigger payout for a cleaner daycare.  On this level I did have to use more than one highchair, walker, and crib for each color on several occasions, but only did so when absolutely necessary.  I had to replay this one to get expert so it is a little more difficult, as are some of the levels after it.  I tried to not return any baby to the parents without full hearts.  It is possible but you really have to watch their heart levels and focus on it.  Be sure you turn the sound off, it's very distracting.  I just wish I could turn off that one baby's drooling, ugh! lol! Good luck!! Let us know when you pass it. You may be able to provide even more tips for someone else struggling with this level.

Some good advice in here.  I would echo making sure you swap every possible time you can.  Many of the babies have spreads of requests that run in nice sequences with each other, find those and capitalize on them as much as possible.

The advice about replaying earlier levels in venue 5 to get some additional upgrades is also very very good.  You REALLY need Wilson moving as fast as possible on this level, along with any happiness upgrades you can afford for stations.  Having the cleanatron fully upgraded is also a tremendous help.

One last tip:  if you catch yourself in the unfortunate situation of having a baby in your hands that needs a diaper change but there's already a baby at the diaper station and there's no diapers left, drop the baby in your arms off in the playpen.  It's right next to the changing station and can make a nice quick swap point for you if you get stuck.  That's assuming the playpen isn't already fully occupied of course :)
