I've noticed somehting peculiar since I allowed Apple automatically to upgrade my OS X to 10.4.10; namely, the sound in some apps is limited to the internat speaker.

I thought it was only programs installed since the upgrade, but in the process of confirming, I found TriJinx was affected, along with some other older, much-played games.

I have a 2 dual-cor Xeon Intel Mac w/2 500 GB HDs. OS X came installed on both HDs. When I boot from the one that I did not upgrade, which contains 10.4.8, all sound issues evaporate.

Is anyone else experiencing any similar problems sine the 10.4.10 upgrade?
