Sorry but you'll have to solve the robot. You can't earn more orbs until later. It's not that hard really! Just go 2 or 3 squares in front of him (no more than that) and set the arrows to guide him and you'll be fine. Honestly!

most of the time you can put the arrows before the robot gets there. For example, at the corners, you can put it right at the corner and as soon as the robot goes over it he will go that way. It took me awhile to get past the robot also so don't feel bad =
