Re: cost of playpass in uk pounds

I can't tell you how much the basic is because I am on the
Deluxe one, but I will say that you'd need to purchase the
Deluxe one aswell to get a game a month. The reason for this
is that PF charge 15% tax on top of games, so one game isn't
$9.95 for us, it's more like $11.50 after tax (actually I
think it's $11.44). Anyway because of this I've had to
purchase the deluxe which gives you $13.95 worth of PlayGold
per month. This is the same for any country outside the US
and the tax charges can be found in the Support pages I
think.
Anyway, I got charged this month £9.93 for
the PlayPass plus a £1 overseas charge because of the
transaction. I'm aware the current exchange rate is $1.40 to
the £, but obviously it can change and you get charged
the current exchange rate on the day. I'm not so sure how
much I was getting charged before as I was using my mum's
credit card and I just gave her £10 per month. I'm
also not sure about the £1 charge, I only noticed it
when I got charged the last time, but depending on your
credit card it might not charge you it. I think it's because
I use my debit card which takes the money direct from my
bank account that I get the charge.
I think PlayPass
is a great way to get games half off and paying £10
per month for a game is a good deal (especially since it
could be double). Also once your remaining PlayGold (the
amount left over after buying a game a month) builds up, you
will be able to get another game, which I did recently after
allowing it to build up over a few months. So your paying
for a game a month and after about 5 months you'll have
enough built up for another game aswell, which is kinda like
a free one in a way. This means over a year instead of 12
games, you'd get 14, which I feel is a good
deal. Anyway, I hope this info helps you and good luck.
