If you're not using Windows Installer, you can use the executable located in "\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bootstrapper\Packag es\vcredist_x86\vcredist_x86.e xe". All you have to do is execute this redistributable in your third party setup.



Delete the hacked scores......

Whoa...that is beyond my level of expertise..I have windows xp, home edition...I am going to Program files and looking, and that should be there? So it is my application thing that is in error, and not my WD, right? Thanks

OK. Got it..thanks again. I found a bunch of WD that I still had after I deleted it again, and deleted all of it, and then reinstalled it and it is working great again. Whew..

mcaffe security is junk...thats why they give it to you for free with most internet subscriptions, ive had numerous friends that obtained viruses and spyware on a weekly basis..if i was you id upgrade to a better system in the near future

I am having this problem and can't find microsoft visual studio on my computer.  You have any other idea?

Same problem here with the bootstrapper application error.  I've contacted support twice and am not getting any response from them.  I cannot open the game at all because of this error message.  Would love to find out a fix for this -- hopefully support will finally  help with the situation.
