Ok, I just played all three
Dream Chronicles so I think
my memory is fresher.
Lilith was pissed Faye
married "her man", so she stole Fidget in DC1. Afterwards,
she stole Fidget and Lyra in DC2.
In DC3, Faye has her
memory stolen and Fidget's in a crystal ball giving her
clues (they never say where he is). Once we talk to Lilith,
we find out that Lilith is still pissed about Faye and
Fidget, but right now her main concern is not being ruled by
Lyra- who DOES fit the criteria of being The Chosen Child.
So it appears that she has given up on Fidget. During the
conversation, I remembered when Faye was learning about
"Fairy Relationships" that fairies marry for power and that
Lilith and Fidget where supposed to a very powerful child-
but what's more powerful than Fairy Lord? This confused me,
but I was sure it would be explained later.
From
what I gathered, since the Fairy Lord is MIA and there's no
signs of him coming back, The Fairy Librarian needed a
Chosen Child and at the time there was only Lyra. Lilith,
being a smart fairy, figured that if she was knocked up by a
mortal male, she could have a Chosen Child as well (I'm sure
as a little vengeance to Fidget and Faye) who could become
the new Fairy Lord. So, Lilith takes Lyra out of the picture
by helping the woman she can't stand so she can have The
Most Powerful Fairy EVAR!!!!!
No clue how this
will play out in DC4 (they better have one!) but I'm
excited! OH- maybe Lyra will have to battle it out against
Lilith's kid to see who becomes the new Fairy Lord! LOL
That's my guess.
