when i first got this as a download and played this it went as a story form the same as return to ravenhearst. some how i lost it and sownloaded it again and now it plays as a detective game is there two games or can u play it two ways and if so how do i switch back to the story form i like that one better

There are two different Ravenhearst Games, Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst and MCF: Return to Ravenhearst. The first is one of the first MCF installments, and is therefore a very simple hidden-object/puzzle game in which you must search for items in various rooms then piece together parts of Emma Ravenhearst's sad and sinister diary entries. In Return to Ravenhearst, you must return to the ominous Ravenhearst Manor to release the captive souls or Rose Somorset and her children. This installment is much more complex as you must also look for random objects on the floor, solve many more puzzles, and actually walk from room to room. Also, hints cannot be used on the door puzzles in RTR. I'm not really sure what your question is, but it seems like you're wondering if there are two different versions or two different games.
