Another General Warning

Posted: May 2, 2009 at 12:37
In the multiplayer room, I played someone named "Missytutu"  yesterday, who refused to finish the game.  This player continued to refill the drinks at his/her last table, so that the game would not end.  By refilling the drinks, this kept the family happy, which kept the game going, even though I no longer had tables, and the clock had run out.  I didn't leave the game, since I did not want to "quit" the game and have that attached to my stats.  This continued for about 45 minutes until this player finally gave up.
I reported this, and wanted all of you to take note of the name..."Misstytutu."
First time this has ever happened to me, was really frustrating.
Thanks!

Wow, some people are relentless when it comes to having no losses. Thanks for the heads up. Glad you reported it, that must have been so frustrating waiting for 45 minutes.

Debz :)

Don't worry, about a thing. Cause every little thing's gonna be alright... :D

I have a question and I know that the answer will more than likely be a hit or miss but... When is a good time to go on DDHH multiplayer and actually have people who want to play and not just chat, argue, or quit. I hadn't played in a long time so I went on the other night and it was a completely different atmosphere from when the game first came out. Any suggestions...

cdnmom, that is crazy. And sorry to hear about that.

Sorry to hear that CdnMom. That is ridiculous. I can't believe she made you wait 45 min. It s u c ks that you had to wait that long as opposed to quitting. There should be a time limit on how long a game lasts and how long the player has to clear his/her table.

I learned not to play Missytutu and vowed not to ever play her again after she took forever to push play to start the game (I had to wait in the area of 15 min), and she typed all kinds of obscenities in the chat.

mrey,
that is actually a good question. The best time I would say would be weekdays in the daytime. All the kiddies are at school and the people that are on actually want to play. The only downside to that is there aren't many players online at that time because of course people are at work during that time. Weekends and nighttime is the best and worst time. The best because there are a lot of people online to play and worst because the kiddies are out of school and they clog the chat with mindless drivil and really aren't there to seriously game so a lot of quitters are there during that time.

Now some may say "If you don't wnt to see the chat just ignore the person" and yes, of course we have the option to "Ignore this user" by clicking their name then clicking ignore, BUT it resets after each game you play so you have to continually re-ignore the people. We have mentioned this to Westley when she was in DDHH Multiplayer once, but nothing has been done about it. One mom that there one asked me what she could do about the chat since she wanted her daughter to play but didnt want her to see the chat. I told she could click ignore on the people she wanted but it would reset back to normal afterwards *sigh*

Sorry for the long reply, just wanted to thouroughly answer your question :)

Thanks Pink-

No one is really bothering me at all I just couldn't find anyone one you actually wanted to play. Just silly fights and useless bantering. I'll keep your advice in mind. I hope you are having a great weekend. Thanks again. See you around.

Hey Debz1611,

It definitely was frustrating. Hopefully others will take note of Missytutu's name.
Thanks for your support and your post.

Hey PinkMinx22,

You are SO right on the time limit.  What a great suggestion!
Very interesting that you have experienced Missytutu's ignorant behaviour as well.

Thanks to you and mrey for your replies and your support!
