You Need To mAKE A root SHIVELING Potion. hEAT red rose petals. 2 heat Lemongrass 3 Rose liguid essence.4 Crush and heat Orange peel. 5 Grey rose seeds. tHEN TAHE THE TEDDY BEAR TO THE HOUSE AND PUT HIM BESIDE THE BOTTOM STEWPS TO THE LEFT. tHE END.  GOODMAN2008

So she did make the potions right now.

Bring the teddy bear back to Fayes House (not the tree house but the one with Lyra's room) and place it on the bottom of the stairs under the woman's head at the left side.
