If you want to play the whole game go to msn games. I have played plenty of games that way. I dont do it all the time. But if I really like a game and can't afford it I have found that msn games allows you to play the whole game as long as you don't shut off your computer. I don't care if some of you think that is wrong. I am on a very tight budget and can't afford to buy all the games I want. I have quite a few that I own. But some games also are just not worth buying as once you play it through once it loses it's appeal.

I don't think that's the answer for most people who can afford these games and should just buy them, but that's actually a good suggestion for people that can't afford the game or don't have a credit card or want to try it out for an extended period before purchasing. I totally forgot about that "glitch" or don't know what to call it on MSN. I accidently found that out one time when I played a game on MSN, I think it said it had a 60 minute trial or something, and as long as I didn't stop the game, it kept playing and playing and playing. Grant it, at some point, you have to stop, and then you can't play that game anymore, but it is a good idea for some people. And its not like you are abusing a glitch they don't know about, it's been that way for a few years now at MSN.

I believe Rj might have mention this "glitch" awhile ago. I don't remember if it was here in other games or the playfirst lounge.

This kind of glitch has occasionally happened on Spintop.
But what is a really weird glitch is that sometimes the demo games on different sites actually remember you, and have your game saved when you play a demo of the same game on a different site! Anyone else noticed this? I admit I took advantage of this when I until very recently was a poverty stricken student.

The good thing with these glitches from a personal point of view is that you sometimes finish the game in one go and then never have to buy it unless you feel it has replay value. Or, for example, I managed to chain three or four Chocolatier demo games, just long enough to realise I really didn't want it. I found it boring half-way through and I would have kicked myself for buying it, since I had very, very little money last spring. Sometimes 20 bucks is a lot of money to put on non-essentials.
But, anyway, game developing is a business and this is for the freeloaders: If no-one pays for their games, how will we then get DD sequels, I ask you?
I'll be more than happy to fork out 20 dollars for DDHH once it comes out (and I can barely wait!).

Oh, and to get back to the topic, I can barely wait for the new MCF, either, for that matter! :D

Oh, and the 'freeloading' comment was mainly for the person asking for the game key from people who have bought the game. Honestly, that takes some chin.

You're right Miriam. That is really strange. I've noticed it to when I used to play all the free games. I'm not particularly computer literate, so this could be so completely stupid, and I'm sure RjX_ will let me know, which I would appreciate, or anyone else, but how does that happen????

Lol latte, thats not really a dumb question. Most of it has to with your computer registry. Thats how gaming sites remember if you played the whole 60 minutes. The gaming companies log you ip address/unique computer or both. The ones that allow you to play forever ,if you dont exit the game window has to do with their timing aspect. For some reason oberon media logs the same infomation(ip), but does not send it to your registry immediately. Even if your playing the game for 8 hours on the trail version and your power goes out, you will lose only 5 minutes off the trail time. You could do this 12 times before your trial will expire. If you exit out the game(clicking the top right X, or closing the program) it will then register your time. There are files in your computer that you can alter and change that allows you to play any game on any website for free, but i cant say how this done. I like to support gaming companies and hope they profit.

Well, even if you told me, I wouldn't be able to do it, I am lucky I know what that X in the corner of the screen even does! LOL. Thanks for the info. That's really cool. I wish I knew more about computers like you do, but honestly, when I was in high school, and took a computer class, the whole semester was about creating a flow chart or flow sheet or something flow??? I didn't understand so I just sat in class with the computer book open on my head, hoping for some osmosis to happen. Which never occurred. :-)
