I found it extremely difficult to be able to make my monetary goal in Thyme Square and Champagne Falls because I couldnt afford those expensive recipes that most of the people liked. Anybody else had/has this problem? What do you guys think??? Tips?

I agree with you.  I never finished the game, and I am sorry I bought it. 

It was very difficult for me to complete it, but I will NEVER go back to do better on it. I dont feel that I got my money's worth on this one.....:-{

Hmmm.....buying some....plausible.   But buying all......impossible.   Recipes are way too expensive.

Woo Hoo!  Even though I'm still working on Champagne Falls (Impossible), I got all the recipes from Squid Row, Avenue Flo, Bistro Bay, and Thyme Square!   I found the trick is to not put the nonessintial recipes on the menu, but to just leave them down on the bottom.  (So we don't have to waste the ingredients to make them...)

I have managed quite nicely and even collected all of the recipes in Champagne Falls at the same time. (I need to go back and collect them all at once in the other areas to get the last trophy. I was expecting that just having cooked them counted as "collecting", but either my record keeping is faulty or I was wrong.)

Of course I am using the widely know "cheat" of qutting out to the map and pressing Continue until I get a daily challenge that is at least doable. This includes rejecting the ruinous ones, like doubling your stock of an ingredient you already have far too much of or buying a sign when you need all your money for ingredients, as well as the impossible ones, like selling 30 meals on a slow day at a restaurant that hasn't exceeded 10 on a heavy day, feeding a character type 10 times when you don't even have his or her favorite dish yet, etc., etc.

MY objection to the game is those kinds of ridiculous challenges.

Well, I think it's expensive sometimes.

Nah I just lower the prices when selling them or rise them pending on food costs it's supply and demand duh

Yes they are. I'm on Bistro Bay & can't get past it.
