I can't play the rtial version

I downloaded a free trial but can’t play the game. The error message is below.
 
Failed to initialize window. Please try running the game again. If that doesn’t help, try changing the screen resolution and color depth. If that fails, then your video card doesn’t support this game.
What should the screen resolution and color depth settings be set to? My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 7100 and I am running Windows Vista.
