I love this game, have played it thru a few times now, but I have a problem with the medals repeating themselves in later games.  As far as I can tell, the game doesn't give an option to start a new game with the same player.  Once I finish one game and start another, I have to delete the previous name and use a different one.  If I try using the same name, it just gives me all the same medals I won in the previous game.  Altho I don't worry about medals in a lot of games, I really like getting these cause they're not that hard to win.  It's a lot of fun getting that big trophy everytime I get a new medal.  I like making new characters to try new styles of hair and stuff (even made a boy once), so a lot of times I'll run thru the game but not bother with all of the medals.  But I'm getting tired of having to think up a different name with each new char.  Does anyone know of a way to clear out the old medals so I can win them again with the same name?

As far as clearing the medals, I don't think you can. I've played through several times and just use a variation on my own name or you could add 1, 2 etc. Although now I don't concern myself with the medals as much as trying to remember where everything is.

Search your Documents and Settings for Wandering Willows - seach for hidden files also.  Open the containing folders of the one with the latest date.  It will be in a PlayFirst folder.  There are 3 of these and only one has the peofile data - the larger one.  I copied it and saved it to my tips folder with the date.  Then I deleted it.  It will have about 2 to 3 MB in it.  When I started the game again it was like it was brand new, a clean slate to fill again
