Hi everyone sorry for askind for your thoughts and prayers but you all are so kind. On wed. I find out whether I have to have a permanent port-a-cath put in for M.S. and go off of the Rebif shots and go on permanent I.V. treatment and i'm scared because then I would have to have a home health nurse. I'm only 29 and next month will be my one year diagnosis for the M.S. and it feels like my life has fell apart,I went from walking fine in 4 or 5 inch heels and boots to walking with a pink cane, don't get me wrong it could be a worse disease and I thank GOD that it isn't but I feel like it's stolen who I used to be, I now have severe depression as one of my symptons and I just don't feel like me anymore, I now have glasses.I just don't want it to affect my daughters (2&4) anymore than it has and i'm afraid that this port will, the pic line like to scared them to death,thanks for listening I just had to vent.

Thank you Tara I hope that Anya is doing well, Next month my little miracle Emily Elizabeth turns 3, boy do they grow up fast,seems just like yesterday that we left Brenner's with our litlle 4 pound "monkey". Hope you are doing well.

So sorry to read your are going through so much and so young. I have a couple of friends who have MS and I know it is very trying for them so I can see how it must be for you. I find myself crying for them. Shots everyday ups and downs doctor appointments all the time but they have a close relationship with God and he helps them to endure and then here comes the smiles. I myself deal with a pain disease called Fibromyalgia (I know that this is not the same as MS) as well as a back and neck injuries which has caused the discs in my spine to degenerate, so pain and arthur has become a close friend of mine (lol) You've got to laugh to keep from crying all the time. I've accepted the fact that diseases does not age discriminate I am only 47 and I tell you some days I feel like 100. To keep me up I just concentrate on positive things and then when I think about the fact that there are ones much worse than me I pray for them because yes I could be worse.  Like you there are days when I need assistance to walk and get up but Im not going to give up. Your life is not over as a matter of fact its just beggining. Think of it as the next chapter in your life , one that you did not start to write but, you get to choose in what dirrection it will go. You've got so much to do and to learn and people to meet who will encourage you and help you and love you. You know what I do? I spend time in my garden in the summer and my fountain and plant room in the winter I fill it with candles I love candles. Relaxtion is the best medicine at times. I too share a close relationship with God and he promises us that soon we won't have anymore pain or sickness I so want that day to come soon but until then he gives us the strength to endure and I can see that God is helping you right now because you have not given up. Hope you have a better day today than yesterday and you are in my prayers. And remember laughter keeps the tears away.

I read your post one more time. I know that you are scared but try and think about those two little girls and how they make you smile and bring sunshine to you everytime they enter the room that you are in. I know for me, my three grandchildren light up my life. And when we do things together for instance play games on the computer or Wii X-Box Playstation which ever one we feel like at the time (they are better gamers than me) lol I feel so fortunate. And when I have my flareups they are such a breath of fresh air for me. And when you go for the medical procedures always carry a picture of your girls with you, those sweet little faces gives will give you courage. Also depression seems to tag along with so many diseases now and the only thing I do when it comes over me is pray that it does not consume me, because some times it can lasts for days. It is hard I know at times down right torture but you can do it. God wants you to come off victorious he loves you. This is not the way he wanted things to be for you or any of us. And soon that will all change. Doesn't that sound wonderful? Christy I will keep you and your family in my prayers and remember laughter keeps the tears away.
 
I meant to ask earlier are you married?
