So...I've been playing this game for a while and my villagers have made quite a few babies, but the thing is all of those babies are boys. Every single one of them. I can't seem to be able to get a female child. Is that normal or...? Thanks in advance.

Hi, that happened to me too and I really had to work at getting them to go into the hut to breed with the older women - But I just kept dropping them on the second they came out and eventually they made girls.  But one game I had to start again because they all died from that.  Hope you can do it!

Hi, thank you so much for answering my question. I actually got my first baby girl today (finally!) after getting 11 boys in a row. I was beginning to think it was a glitch in my game which would be a shame because I really like this tribe and they've been doing really good, so I wouldn't want to start over. I think the gender of the first babies depends on how many male and female villagers you have to begin with. I started the game with 4 females (3 adults and 1 girl) and only 2 males, I think may be that's why I was getting only male babies at first.
