Rj, It is important to me that you know my post to that thread was to stop it. It is inapropriate. I was trying to be nice though. Had I known I was communicating with a 10 yr. old I wouldn't have bothered. ( I don't believe this person is 10 yrs old)

Rj, I'm probably going to make enemies on this one (although I hope not) but I feel like this needs to be addressed. The forums are going in a direction that I feel they shouldn't. I don't feel that these forums should be for counseling or "soul baring" or religious issues. While confession is "good for the soul" there are deeply person issues being revealed that I feel are best talked over in private with friends, doctors, clegy etc. I guess that I find these posts troubling and I needed to speak. Sorry if I have offended anyone.

Feisty, I hope you are not talking about me. That is why I started so many crazy forums like what would your username be if you were to name yourself after a favorite food. I want us all just to go back to having fun.

Candy, I did not refer to anyone by name, but I think these forums should be about fun and games and not about all the heavy issues that have been posted as of late. We are friends here and I just needed to speak up. I liked your topic about food related names.

I dont have a problem if people what to share their thoughts over personal issues as long as its in this forum. But the religious chat, junk posting, and the little kids need to go.

Hmm......Think I'm a bit divided on this one. I do think certain things like politics, religion, race, etc.. have no place on a message board, and I do agree that lately some things were getting a little "intense". But I don't think anyone stepped over the line, I assume you don't either, and I think if someone wants to talk about personal issues, thats ok, I don't mind. I think sharing stories helps them feel less alone with their problems, whats that saying?..."Confession is good for the soul" ? Something like that anyways. Gotta go hang some laundry, its a beautiful day here!

Rjx, I have been thinking about this for the past couple of days. Maybe a sticky or a separate forum for appropriate conduct may help. For instance, tell people if they want to post about the games check in the forums,if it isn;t listed check the other games forum. All caps are considered rude.Explain what double posting is. Etc. It would be a tutorial about the way to use these forums. A lot of people (including myself) have never joined a forum until PlayFirst plus we have kids that could use some help.

Excellent idea canycrazy. That would help the new ones on how to negotiate these forums.
