Update on Diner Dash: Hometown Hero

Posted: September 21, 2007 at 09:44
Hi everyone,

I wanted to address some of your concerns regarding the launch of Diner Dash: Hometown Hero.

First of all, I wanted to confirm that the game is not completed yet. As I type this, we have a team polishing the game and adding the final touches to Diner Dash: Hometown Hero. We are just as anxious as you are to launch the games and can tell you that it will be available sometime next week.

Regarding private screenings. We currently do not offer "private screenings" to customers, but we do meet with the press to preview products before they're done - a common practice for any company that is launching a new product. I want to assure you that anyone who has seen the game (outside of PlayFirst) saw a version of the game that was not 100% completed.

Finally, we want to thank all of you for your patience during the past few weeks! I know its been tough for all of you – as it has been for us - but we are really excited to bring you an exciting new game next week. I've been trying to keep up with all of your posts and they’ve really kept us motivated during the past few weeks... we can't wait to play with you! :)

Sincerely,

Sorbet

Sorbet, how can it take til next week to finish it up? Just curious, what still needs to be done. It could be released sooner, in my opinion. Why not work tommorrow? I'll even pay the payroll for that day..ha...

Rj, it takes you 4 posts to convey your comments? Looks like you were set staight with your "private screenings" boast. Thanks Sorbet, someone needed to!

Ignore the Freakin' Trolls! They're already running amuck all over the forums!
