Info: New Level-based trials

With the release of Diner Dash: Hometown Hero, we now have level-based trials! What are they and how do they differ from 60-minute trials?
For most of our games, the free trial version lets you play the game for a limited period of time (usually 60 minutes). For these games, when the trial period ends, the game will lock completely and you will need to go back to the website and buy the game and get an unlock key to unlock the "full version" of the game.
Other games, including Diner Dash: Hometown Hero, offer a level-based trial.
- In Diner Dash: Hometown Hero you can play in Story Mode for the first seven levels of the first restaurant.
- You can play in those seven levels as long as you want, but you will need to buy the game to unlock the rest of Story Mode. However, My Diner and My Waiter are freely available to you, and you can play Endless Mode using the Waiter you create.
- You can also host multiplayer games in the first restaurant (Safari Cafe) or your Diner, and join any multiplayer games that other players host.
- To unlock the rest of the levels in Story Mode, you will need to go back to the website and buy the game to get an unlock key to unlock the "full version" of the game. You can also buy the game from the Diner Dash Boutique. To get there, click on the SHOP button on the main menu in the game, and then click "BUY DINER DASH."
Hope this clears up any confusion for anyone. Have fun with the latest installment of Diner Dash!

This is a cool way to try out a game, especially since you actually allow people to try out the endless mode before buying it as well. Typically that mode is locked out and can't be tested.
Not that DDHH really needs to be tested or tried out before buying! That was a buy right away since I know PF makes a great product!

I was actually really happy to see that the DDHH trial was set up this way. With the timed trials, I always feel kind of pressured, especially if I get interrupted!! It was nice to be able to play the first seven levels at a more leisurely pace and I'm definitely going to purchase this game. Sooo happy it's out!!

I was excited to hear about the level based trial, but when I downloaded DDHH I got the same 60 minute trial. When the trial was up, I didn't have any options for playing a limited version.

What is happening that it doesn't work?

My question is this: I purchased the new Diner Dash & still it will only let me go so far, it says the other levels are coming soon, will we have to purchase each level as I see one has to be purchased separately for $4.99???

@1pikachu1: as you might have noticed, we're trying a couple different new things with the release of DD:HH. Some of them are experiments to tell us more about what players like. Some of them are changes made in response to what we've learned in the past.

I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members.

Hey.
I just wanted to say how impressed I am by the game.
I also love the Trial Idea, whoever thought of that should get an extra brownie!
I have a couple of questions, if I buy the game, do I have to use my Waiter in Endless Shift? (I want Flo).
Also, if I buy the game, would my fiance have to have a Playfirst account if he wanted to play Endless Shift?
Also, if I buy the game without the Water Park, will I still ahve 50 levels which was the norm for the DD series?

Kudos to PF for being the front runner for this type of trial. You guys are the best.

I also only received a 60-minute trial for DDHH. I was so excited that it would be an untimed trial. Now I have used up my time, but would like to be able to try a little more before I buy. I'm liking it so far.

I do like the level-based trial, but I'm sooo narked I can't get onto the second restaurant. All the trials I've had from Diner Dash and co, I've always been able to get to the second restaurant within 60 mins. Can't they make it so we can play till half way through 2nd restaurant?

If they did that, they why would you buy any games. I don't know of any game site, that gives 7 levels unlimited play. Do you?
