Baseball diner level 10, matching colored seats

Posted: October 29, 2007 at 06:46
I am on level 10 where you have to match them to the correctly colored chair, now I have 3 parties left to seat and they don't match any of the seats in the diner.
Is there any way to move them in the order they are in their party? Like if the one on the end of the party is green, can you move them to the middle of the party?
I am so stuck and have 3 more to seat and they don't fit any tables.
Thanks for any advice.

You can rotate the party at the table, but they might still not match.
I would play the level again and seat people in different spots to begin with. Sometimes you have to waste bigger tables on smaller groups to begin with. I'd go back and get specific seating assignments, but I can't play the game at the moment.

Hello, Looseefur! Welcome to the forums. I believe the trick here is that, when seating families, the mother must go in the lower left-hand corner of the table. Otherwise, once you bring a highchair, the color order will change. If she is sitting at the bottom left, the colors stay in order and you should be all set. Try that and let us know how you make out.

I have made a seating plan for Baseball Park level 10. I don't know if you still need it but I will post it anyway, someone else might need it.
When I list the color of customers I'm going from left to right as I see them in line and note that I say "brown," but for you it's probably red, my red looks brown.
The tables. You have 2 rows of tables going from the front by the peanuts and podium, to the back, by the flowers. Row 1 will be the row by the peanuts with a table for 6, a table for 2, and a table for 4. Row 2 is the one by the podium with a table for 4, a table for 2, a table for 4, and a table for 2. In row 2 we will call the first table for 4 up front by the podium table 4A and the second table for 4 will be 4B. Likewise with the tables for 2, the first one up front by the podium will be 2A, and the second one will be 2B.
On each round you want to seat the customers and you can give one table drinks before you pass out snacks, then take all the orders and go to the podium to make people happy. Pass out the food and again you can give drinks, then pass out snacks. While you pass out snacks check the line, if people are getting upset, go to the podium and then give each table just the check. If people are ok then give the checks first, then go to the podium. Clear your dirty dishes and put out your flowers then go make them happy at the podium once more before you seat the next round. You can also go to the podium before you put out the flowers if you need to, just keep checking the line.
ROUND 1 = 5 tables
3 teen girls, (brown, green, blue). Seat in row 2, table 4B.
4 celebrities, (2 blue 2 green). Seat in row 2, table 4A
6 girls (2 blue 2 green 2 brown). Seat in row 1, table for 6.
2 teen boys (brown blue). Seat in row 2, table 2A.
2 teen girls (blue brown). seat in row 2, table 2B.
ROUND 2 = 7 tables
4 girls (2 blue 2 green). Seat in row 2, table 4A
6 hungry men (2 blue 2 green 2 brown). Seat in row 1, table for 6.
3 celebrities (brown green blue). Seat in row 2, table 4B.
2 girls (blue brown). Seat in row 2, table 2B
2 celebrities ( brown blue). Seat in row 2, table 2A
A family. seat in row 1, table for 4
Food critic. seat in row 1, table for 2.
*NOTE: On this round while giving the checks the hungry men will start to order a second time. After you give the checks, quickly clear the dishes from just table 4A in row 2 and seat the 4 celebrities (2 blue 2 green). Go to the podium while they order with the hungry men and then continue on like it was a regular round.
ROUND 3 = 5 tables
6 girls ( 2 blue 2 green 2 brown). Seat in row 1, table for 6.
4 girls (2 blue 2 green). Seat in row 2, table 4A.
2 teen girls (brown blue). Seat in row 2, table 2A.
A family. Seat in row 2, table 4B
2 teen girls (blue brown). Seat in row 2, table 2B
You need to give the 4 girls the drinks on this round, they won't like the noise from the teen girls.
Good luck!

everyone will match into the seats. you just got to sit them in the right spot and rotate them a bit.

Could you post what was the highest score you got on this level? I got 25215 a while ago and my notes say use just three tables. But I cannot get over 24200 now whether I use only 3 tables, 2 tables or use all the seats for full chaining, happiness from the celebrities and more snacks ordered. I just can't recreate what I did to get the 25215. I am wondering if it is truly random how many snacks are ordered and that might have been it.

Well, Suze, I would never have thought to do this level with just 3 tables, as you had -- but it works! My previous high score on this level was a measly 21,800 [using all the tables] -- when I did it your way with only 3 tables, I got 24,615! Not the 25,000+ you were looking for again but certainly a vast improvement over my previous high score for the level. Very interesting! Just goes to show that the multiplier for color matching really gets the points!

I learned that trick in DD I where in one level it is impossible to get expert unless you use only three tables or less (because it builds up the color points). It's probably the meanest level of all the games (all business women, who as we know are quick to anger).

Suze,
Snacks are random so you could have a few more the first time you played. It could also be that you are color matching differently than the first time. Both of these things could explain the difference between 24,000 you just scored, and the 25,000 you scored before. My score with the posted method is only around 22,000, but I have yet to replay most levels to better my score. I will replay the level with 3 tables and see what I get.

Suze,
I think its the snacks. I just did it with 3 tables and I scored 25,295. The color matching seemed to be obvious and to keep it simple I never used the high chairs. I did have 2-3 rounds where 2 people had snacks which I chained, not to mention the last round I had only the 6 hungry men who ordered snacks twice and I chained them as well. Anyhow, keep trying and I'm sure you'll be able to do it again, your on the right track.
