I guess im doing something wrong becuase i tried to follow both of them not even closei have tables leaving left and right plese help me?

Maybe you're not spending enough time at the podium?  You could try going to the podium first till the hearts release, then mop the floor, go back to the podium and let the hearts release again, put out flowers, back to podium.  That way your first lot of customers should be pretty happy before you start placing them.
 
You should be able to spend time at the podium after you've served the meals (ignore snack requests if your line isn't happy and stay at the podium - it's more important to keep customers than to get the snack points). 
 
When you check everyone out, go back to the podium before you clear the dishes and then again afterwards.  Again, you should have happy customers before you place them at tables.
