Suggestions for Chocolatier 3- A New Era

I agree with a lot of the ideas that have been given already... but I also think that there should be the "create this many and we'll pay" or "take this and this to this person" missions even after you've completed the game, to give it more play time. I also agree with giving the plane earlier, I nearly lost my mind waiting for it.

I love all of these suggestions. How about making it where you can hire staff to do different things, such as source ingredients, while you work on tasks.

1) I'd like to be able to sell back ingredients I don't need, instead of having them rot in a warehouse.
2) More shops to buy!
3) More ports to visit!
4) Like the idea of different levels of quality in chocolate. Maybe some shops could be corner stores and others could be exclusive ones.

What if you had to work your way up? First you get an internship and start with cleaning, buying supplies, selling to corner stores... eventually you get more involved in the production, starting with cheap and simple chocolate. After some time you make money enough to buy your first factory and start your own production, making your collection fancier.

How about refridgerators? Or more like cold storages that you can rent when you're rich enough, that prevent the goods from detoriating too quickly... you'd still have to be careful with fruits and berries, but nuts and cocoa beans would last much longer, and sugar would be pretty much everlasting... which it already is, since it's used in all the recipes, but anyway.

And new flavours, mmm... irish cream, chocolate covered strawberries, walnut bars... *drools*

And if it took place in the 60's-70's, the "bad guys" could be hippies, protesting against multinational corporations :)

Ok I got this suggestion from a romance novel . How about time travel? Involving taking chocolate into other eras and places that possibly wouldn't know the first thing about chocolate? That could make for some interesting missions.

There are a lot of great suggestions.

I'd like to see Chocolatier in the 1980's or later:

- Tradewars (duties, taxes, politcs)
- Cost of labor variables
- Risky products (tough to sell at any price, or tough to sell at a profit)
- High variability in how long ingredients last (fruit vs. cocao)
- Additional competitive goals to make replaying more fun

Sorry to those who were offended by my suggestion regarding the Twin Towers. Interestingly enough I am a survivor of that incident, but that's a discussion for another forum. Actually, I didn't want to see people falling or jumping out of windows as you suggested. I merely wanted to see the old buildings themselves and then see them taken away with the explanation of 9/11 and eventually replaced by the Freedom Tower.

Chocolate, it's not just for breakfast anymore.

I have enjoyed Chocolatier 1 & 2. I can't wait for a 3rd to come out. I would like to see many of the things that people have already mentioned. The things I would like to see the most is ability to have multiple missions at the same time, more recipes, and more locations. I would also like the ability to be able to tell where you will be on the global high scores before you end a game so if you are trying to get a good high score you know before ending the game. Keep up the great work and can't wait to see a 3rd game.
