Mac under Leopard crashes - Trinidadian ... truffles

When I try to "Make Chocolate" in any of my factories after having selected the recipe for Trinidadian Cacao Almond Vanilla Truffles, the game freezes and then crashes. It is also possibly relevant to note that the recipe book page for truffles doesn't show a picture for this and a few other truffles.

I am using a Mac with OS X 10.5.1 Leopard.

Is there a patch to address this? Has anyone else seen similar behavior?

I'm running Leopard, but this not have any problem with that recipe. Is it the only recipe that gives you that problem? Or do all subsequent recipes do as well?...

This is the only recipe so far. The immediate problem is that I have I'm on a mission to make those truffles, so I don't really want to mess around and try other new recipes. I'll wait and see if PlayFirst support comes up with something.

PlayFirst figured out that there was a problem on some CD's that they burned (including, presumably, the one I got). By downloading the disk image from the website and reinstalling it, my problem was fixed. Yay!

I just ordered the disk from Amazon, and I'm having the same problem (Mac OS X though). There are a few truffles and infusions that have no picture, and when I try to make them, the game crashes. Since I didn't download this online, I'm not sure what to do. Anyone know? Thanks!

How do you download the game from the site without paying for it again? Since I already bought the CD, I certainly don't want to have to pay for it again just to fix the problem.

I have the same problem. I purchased the retail version of the game. Is there an update to this? I would download it, but the box did not come with a CD key or other validating key.

I'm having the same problem, although we're running Tiger. And like you, I don't want to buy the game again. Has Playfirst responded to any of you with information on how to download the disk image without paying twice for the game? Just curious.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this crash problem. I bought CD version of the game. I keep reading that people are dowloading the game again to get it to work properly. I dont want to purchase the game again. Is this the only way to fix this problem?
