The best levels for me to get extra points in has been the Disco.. as much of a pain as those levels can be, lol.

I have such a difficult time with the zoo levels as well. I cannot get expert on levels 5,8,10! I need serious expert walkthroughs for those levels LOL.

I love a challenge and Desperate Housewives!

I agree LB, the zoo level was by far my least favourite as well.

I'd like to ask the high scorers a question. Have you gotten higher than 22955 on the first level of Beach Shack?

This is the one where the colors shift so you can't match up the large table of celebrities and lose some of the color points each time. And where you have the teen girls and boys to seat and one critic and several old women.

The level is frustrating because of the seating arrangement. I only got this score by seating them one at a time after doing the pairing of the teens, one in the center and one in the upper left. If you put one of them in the lower right, they don't flirt. I hate taking so much time to seat them one or two at a time but it's the only way I can think of to build points. If you use all seats, it gives a low score, and people annoy each other.

Suze, are you talking about the first level, with the expert score combined?

I am not counting the expert score which I know replaces level one. (I realize the points don't count since they are higher in the expert level). I last got 23605 (a little better than the 22955 I did before). I think this has to be the maximum or near it. It's such a frustrating level.

My expert level score for this is 41575 and I just started playing those and trying to get them higher.

so refreshing...although frustrating....to know im not the only one, thought there was a problem with the game, i too have played the levels over and over again trying to raise my scores and can't get close to my original ones, not just on the zoo level but all of them, i wish i knew how some of these people got such high scores, not matter how many times i play and different strategies, seating arrangements, etc i can't compare to a lot of folks and i've been playing dd since it first came out, have every single one, always manage to get expert scores but still not satisfied with my scores compared to a lot of other folks....oh well....just had to vent... lol

Suze, I don't keep track of my scores on those first levels, since they combine the expert score as well. Sorry! (My expert score is 47,650 if that's any help) I generally don't even replay the first levels anymore, because when I was keeping track, and improving that score, it would never reflect the new score, because the expert score was always greater. Did that make any sense? LOL Very confusing, I know!

agoleman, Hi. That's OK, we've all vented from time to time here.
There's a walkthrough thread here, that can possibly help you get better scores on various levels.
The basics are pretty simple, try and seat according to types, check out the line to see where you'll place the various tables. For example, you might want to seat the flirts together, or across for each other for maxium points. And the celebrity in the middle where you'll get extra points. Always use the podium, keep your eye on the heart meters, and try and color match as much as possible. Hang in there, you'll get it.
