Help, running out of berries, need to learn how to fish and crow crops.

You need to have a master farmer and have achieved the second level of farming to grow crops. The farmer will plant crops in the patch of strange ground in front of the research table.

To learn to fish, you have to clear the lagoon and achieve the 3rd level of farming.

Hope this helps - fishing makes a BIG difference to the food supply. I 'learned' to fish, went to work (IRL!) with the food at 200 and when I got home, the food had increased to 36,000!
