symbol problem

Posted: April 8, 2008 at 12:20
Community please help! I am almost done with chapter 3. and I can't solve the symbols problem. I've read the instructions and yet I do not understand what I need to achieve and how.
Every time I click on empty spot a ring with the symbols appear , I was trying all the possible ways to place symbols on the board but I ether get red symbols or green ones.
No matter what I do the indicator at the bottom of the screen is not moving, so i am not making any progress. Please help. I hate to give up.

Irina64,

If you have ever played Sudoku, the symbol game is similar to it. Basically, you got to make sure that the symbol used in the slots do not overlap, whether its vertically, horizontally, or within the same 9x9 grid square. It took me a while to get past this, but I successfully got past 2 different versions of the symbol puzzle. Unfortunately, there is 3 versions and I simply used the orb to get past the last one (which was brutal). I managed to finish the game; I was just as frustrated on some the these puzzles, but this game rocks!!!  Good luck.

Recognizing that not everyone has experienced your lessons learned is yet another lesson to learn...

The green symbol is good it lets you know that that symbol is in the right spot. The red is bad and let's you know that that symbol doesn't go there. But basically, It's just like Sudoku if you know what that is. In suduko what you do is you makes sure that all the boxes are filled in without any of them repeating in any of the rows or columns. It looks exactly like the symbols puzzle on Azada just with numbers instead. I hope this was helpful to you =
