I'm on the third level--the plains or whatever. The one where toward the end there are no mountains and therefore no mining and no technology. Just tons of cities. What's a good strategy for these levels? I get as many cities as I can connected together, but they still all get crushed, and finally I'm drained of scarab power and I lose.

Any ideas?
