As soon as I went from trying to chain a lot to trying to keep the animals happy, I passed on the first try and got an expert score. Ya'll are awesome.

In order to get expert, you need to stay hopped up on lemonade, then towards the end watch just before the rooster crows before grabbing your last items and leave them for the ending, you get chaining bonus's up the wazooo :)

i have been trying for 4 days to beat level 48, i thought i was going to go crazy!!! i came on and read the forum to see if i could find help.

i stopped focusing on the chaining bonus like someone suggested and tried to the animals as happy as possible. i ended up doing a big chain after the rooster , and i actually won, and on top of that, i got an expert score!!

can anyone tell me how to pass the level 48

I am having a ton of trouble with this one as well. I was able to pass it using the methods listed here, but for the life of me can't get expert.

If chaining isn't the answer than maybe I have a prayer here.  The level's intro says to focus on chaining, so I've been going way outta my way to do chains.  Maybe if I focus on getting to the animals when they first need it, perhaps I can finally beat this unholy terror of a level! 
This level is even more frustrating than levels 3-5 and 3-6 on First Class Flurry!  I'm coming up on my 3rd day of trying, so hopefully it'll be the charm...

Here I go, back into the trenches...

Okay, I just beat it.  I can't believe it.  I try for 3 days with no luck.  Then I read some of these posts, play the level using the tips given, and then beat it in one try.   Amazing.
 
But yeah, chaining isn't the priority!  It's about clicking on the animals as soon as they ask, keeping their hearts up high, and maximizing their output.  It's very good to chain the chickens food with the cows or goats, then chain the water.  And that's really all the chaining you should worry about.    Just keep them happy, and you'll start getting 3 eggs in each basket, large piles of wool, lots of cheese (don't collect the cheese at all till after the rooster crows! It's a major waste of time really).

I've been stumped on level 48 for 5 months!  After reading your tips, I tried it again(I'd just about given up on it), and lo and behold, I actually made it!  Not only that, but I got expert!  Thanks for the tips!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the great tips guys, I only had to try this level a few times to get expert, the key is to forget the chaining and focus on keeping your animals happy!  Thanks again! Debz :)

I have been trying this level for 2 days and I can't even get goal, let alone expert, help please

I'm happy to know it's not just me that is having trouble on this level.
