I am addicted to this game and I think I am too old.. what is the average age

Posted: October 16, 2007 at 07:47
I just turned 41 on Oct 11 and I love this game. My son has his wealth of PS2 games and I have played them once and a while but I like the computer. I received Diner Dash as a trial on my new computer and got hooked instantly. I felt foolish for being so addicted to the game at my age but honestly I have always felt young inside and (thank God) don't really look my age. Because of all the help from this forum, and the many attempts to clear each level as expert, I have finally been expert all the way to Level 45. Now I am back on the site to get help. Really enjoying the mind games this one plays. Carrie

My real age: 20 years old with 21 years experience!!!!

For anyone over forty we are starting an over the hill gang just to see how many people are over forty and crazy about the game. Come over to the PlayFirst lounge and sign up. It will be fun to see how many of us are part of the group.

My kids laugh at the PC games I play but they usually catch themselves standing behind me watching the game progress. I'll go back to my computer later and at least one of them has created a profile and tried to beat my score. It's like a silent contest with me and my kids. It's pretty funny. LOL :D

I will be thirty-eight next month and I am totally addicted too. My daughter is seven she likes playing too. When she can't get expert she wants me to play to get her to the next resturant. Thanks to all Jens advice I have gotten far. Good Luck.

Hi! I am almost 37 with two kids and I have loved video/computer games from my first pong/pacman/zelda days. It is nice to see range in ages mentioned here...but personally, especially nice to see the little bit older crowd ;-)
My kids don't think they know of another mom who enjoys 'playing' so much. You can definitely be a grown up and still keep the kid in you. In fact, I highly recommend it!

Just thought you'd like to know I am 55. I started playing board games with my siblings as a child and always loved it. Then I played cards with college friends and neighbors and family members for years. Finally I found myself with no one to play games with and my kids got old enough to play Atari and then Nintendo etc. I played most of the games they played and we had lots of fun. Computer games are great because you can play even when there is no one to play with and have fun. I discovered Diner Dash some time ago and have 2 and 3. I think I might go back and buy the first one too. All I played was the free trial on that one and on line at MSN games. Games are fun, they keep the mind working and way better than TV! Keep playing! Stay young at heart always.
