Help = all my scores are gone and it's not saving the data

I went to play Flo on the Go again, and found that the saved game was gone! It signed me in as my user name, but then asked me for my name again. Then I saw it was a brand new game - every level was unplayed. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled it - but the same thing happened. So I played a few levels, thinking I will just replay them all for fun anyway. But then lo and behold, I go to play again and all my scores from yesterday are gone. It still asks me for my name, and starts at zero.

How do I get it to remember me, automatically grab my data files from before, and save my scores when I play? Even if the original data files are somehow lost, at least I'd like it to remember day to day what I have played.

The other games aren't doing this, by the way. My old scores are there for DD 1, 2 and 4.

Help = all my scores are gone and it's not saving the data

I emailed playfirst and this is what they sent me:

Here are some things to try, you should be able to remedy the issue of your game reinstalling the corrupted files by manually deleting your save game data folder directory. We have provided instructions below that should be done prior to reinstalling your game again:
1. Go to "My Computer."
2. Click on "Local Disk C."
3. Click on "Program Files."
4. Click on "Show contents of this folder"
5. Scroll until you see a folder named, "PlayFirst." And double click on it.
6. You should then see a folder named, "DinerDash Flo on the Go." Right click on it and select Delete.
7. You can then reinstall a fresh updated Copy of your game.
8. Make sure to choose a unique user name, different from the last user name you used.

If you are still experiencing this issue with your game try going to the game folder and running the actual exe.

To do this follow the following path: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\PlayFirst\Games\dinerdashfloonthego

If you are unable to see your Application Data folder make sure you are able to view hidden file types. Please let us know if this works.

If the game is still not functioning properly, note the following:
- Make sure you have admin rights on your computer.
- Please try creating two users. The second user may not have the issue.

If you are still experiencing the issue, please send us your DxDiag file. Make sure to attach this e-mail so that we can assess the issue. You can create the file by following these steps:
1. Click on the Windows "Start" button in the lower left corner of your screen.
2. Click the "Run" icon in the lower right section of the newly appeared start box.
3. Type in the box "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. If you are asked something about WHQL signatures you can answer "no"
5. Click on "Save all information" - leave the default file name of "DxDiag.txt" and save the file to your Desktop.
6. Reply to this email attaching the DxDiag file.

I hope this helps, i know it helped me out a lot and made it possible for me to enjoy the game again!!!

Help = all my scores are gone and it's not saving the data

Thanks for the info, tho I will have to have hubby do it for me. LOL I don't do well with those type of directions, since I don't use the computer much except to do this. Now at least I know I am not nuts and it wasn't just my screams of frustration echoing like I thought. LOL
