Asking for Help

Posted: May 3, 2008 at 05:45
There seems to be an abundance of posts here lately, asking for help on specific levels. I've even read a few stating, they were unable to find the Walkthrough link for all the levels, when it's on the same page here, all they needed to do was scroll down and look for it! LOL It seems people are relying more on the Walkthroughs, then trying to play the level by themselves. I only use walkthroughs when I'm geniunely stuck in a game and that's when they should only be used.

This isn't meant to offend anyone or they're gaming ability. But please don't take for granted, there will be a Walkthrough for every single level, because there isn't. A lot of people who did the walkthroughs, took their own time to help people out, which was a great thing to do. Only the more difficult levels even have these Walkthroughs. There's also numerous tips overall, in how to improve your game. It just makes me feel, if a person is too lazy to even look for the help, it really doesn't make me want to help them. (Wow! I hope that didn't sound too much like RJ!)

Robin, it's really not that big of a deal, but I was the one who did the Walkthrough for Winter Wonderland Level 7.

Oh my goodness, sorry LB! Must have been a cut and paste error. I'll correct it in the next version.

My apologies again,
Robin

LB,
HI ! I agree with you that lots of people automatically look for walkthrus , without trying very hard on thier own to beat the level. What's the fun in that?? and that walk thru you created was a cry 4 help from me [after 5 soild daze on the same level].Thanks again , and thank you Robin for putting all the info together. Bet you money that some people will moan and complain about your post. Still I think one should use the tips only when really stuck. DB.

Hi back DB, and thank you. That's exactly what I meant, that people are relying more on the Walkthroughs than actually trying to beat the level on their own. It just seems to me, if that's the only way you can play, it's really not you playing, it's with someone elses help. I have absolutely no problem, when a person asks for help, when they get stuck there for awhile, because we've all been there before.
