Problems with Diner Dash 2

I recently purchased DD2 and have encountered the same problem over and over. The Cursor (arrow and hand) disappears during the game. We have tried starting game over, downloading Direct X, Uninstalling and then reinsatlling and nothing seems to work. What should I do next?

I'm having the same problem!!! My girls got me the game as a Mother's Day gift (a day early), and I was so excited to get on the computer and play it. I'm about ready to chuck it through a window, though, as I've got no cursor. I've tried 3 different mice, it's not that. I can occasionally see where the cursor is supposed to be when something highlights as I accidentally pass over it, but the cursor is still not visible. Even more annoying -- it sometimes shows at the beginning when choosing what kind of game to play, then disappears. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!

I've been having the same problem as well and i went to Walmart today and asked someone about it and they told me that there might be a code that you have to enter.

I just got an email from the game's customer service. I have been sending him messages back and forth explaining what the game is/is not doing. He has been giving me advice but as I mentioned it's still not working. Now he wants me to mail the game in and they will check it for errors. If they still can't find a problem he said they will send me a new one. So I suggest you all try the same. It sucks that we can't even enjoy a simple game of DD2. :(

Have any of you tried updating your drivers for video/sound?

I just bought my DD2 and my cursor keeps jumping all over the place. If I'm trying to click something the mouse jumps to the bottom of the screen. It's quite annoying. If this keeps up I will take it back.

How do you update the video/sound drivers?

Does anyone have any advice on this issue???
