al knights diner question

How come most people wear normal clothes and not middle age clothes? I have only seen knights in place of some characters. Same for egypt level.

I remember in the first comic when Flo and her grandma went back in time, they took some of the customers with them, so that's why they're there. However, it is kind of inconsistent that those customers aren't shown traveling with them to each new destination. It would be nice if some of the other customers were dressed in appropriate clothes, though.

The big question to me is what wireless plan do the cellphone addicts and teens have, lol? They're able to get service even in the dark ages and I have trouble with dropped calls going over bridges. That's some plan.
