So many times we have children on here who are obviously eager to chat. They are bored and want someone to talk to. We are mainly adults and this is not only annoying to us sometimes but also new posters who are deciding what type of forums PlayFirst has. My heart goes out to these children. Yes it is up to the parents to monitor what their children are doing on the internet. However, some parents dont. Why don't we start a list of good kids and teens websites that feature chatrooms or forums. We aren't recommending them just suggesting them. Then when the occasion arises and we have someone who posts. I AM BORED. DO YOU WANT TO CHAT. We can have a refence list and we can suggest they check there.

I found one site. I have not been on this site. But parents have to register their children and the site has been on the web since 1995. They also have separate teen only chatrooms. It is called Kid Chatters. I did not get the address but you will find it if you google.

I forgot to add that I dont want to discourage anyone from visiting this website. This is my home away from home. But I think we can be diplomatic about this. Welcoming and warm but also suggesting they visit these websites. And yes I am having one of those days. lol

You put it so much more diplomatically than I would Candy. I for one would like to know where these kids parents are when they are plugging up the forums using them like a chat room. I guess as long as they're not annoying them, the parents don't care if they annoy other people. I for one hope they're accounts get deleted and the sooner the better.

If they would come on here and ask sensible questions or make comments that would be fine.
