Level 6 help

Lb, ok this is the game that I got to I think level 10 and couldn't pass it for the life of me. I started the game over after having 'practiced' on the 1-9 levels and did much better and my score then enabled me to buy better upgrades right off the bat. By level 6 I had all the upgrades. I just now replayed this level and got expert with a few hundred points over. This is how I did it. The chaining points of the color of the pedestal is the most important. First of all I have the big fabric rack and make and store fabric there if you have time. If not don't worry about it. I had alot of water bottles too. You might have a customer on a red pedestal and three red customers waiting. Don't panic and put a red customer on a non red pedestal. If their heart meters go down, just give them water as soon as they get to the pedestal. Put the most impatient customers there first. Do the same for the blue and green customers. Try to wait until you can cash out all 3 customers for the cash out chaining bonus. Also, be sure to get your spools of thread on the floor after cashing out as this is your tips. They won't stay there long and will disappear if you wait too long. You really have to practice a while using the machines and getting a rythym flowing between them to do it with ease. If you just got the game don't get discouraged, it takes some practice as with all the other games. I'm going back to replay level 7 for you now.

Level 6 help

LB, instead of starting a new game, I meant to say just replay the levels as you will get to keep all your existing upgrades as well as buy more. Hope I posted this before you read the first post. Let me know how you do. Pinky

Level 6 help

Thanks for your help Pinky. I did go back briefly and replay those levels I'm having problems with, with the tips you suggested, and still can't beat the goal. (Ugh!)

I never really liked the game very much when I first played the demo, and maybe that's part of it. I think I'm going to finish up some other games I started and come back to it. I've never had this much problem with a game in my life, I usually get expert on the first try.

The thing that's so weird about this game, is when you go back and replay those levels, as you suggested, you still have the upgrades, I've never seen that before in a game, so that aspect of it is quite different.

Yesterday, when the last DDHH, Buccaneer Bistro was released, we were all having problems with the download. Our other PF games were having a unusally long "downloading updates" message. When I went to play "Pet Shop Hop" my scores were totally wiped out! All gone! I was nearly at 1,200,00 points too! (That was my goal anyway) So, that's very frustrating, as I have to start the entire game over.

Anyway, thanks again for your help, I just stink at "Dress Shop Hop!" LOL

Level 6 help

LB, on Dress Shop HOp try replaying from level 1. That way by level 6 you already have all of the upgrades. This game is very different that way but maybe they planned it because too many people couldn't get pass level 9 and 10 the first time around.

I went back to Pet Shop Hop this afternoon to use your suggestions and replay level 51. Guess what!! My whole game was wiped out and all it would do is let me start a brand new game even though my name and high score were still there. So, reluctantly, I'm replaying this one but won't do it all at once. I got too burned out on it when going for the expert medal only to find out levels 36 and 37 were impossible. (Now we at least know someone beat it though!)

I haven't bought the last 2 DDHH restaurants yet. May wait til there's one more and then buy all 3. The game play just goes too fast when you buy only one. I'm not going for the high scores or anything cuz I'm too far down the list, lol!

Oh no! I wonder how many other people's scores were wiped out too. I thought maybe it was just me. That really stinks, doesn't it? It takes quite awhile to play the entire game anyway. I was just under 200,00 (the other score I posted earlier was from Dairy Dash, I mixed them up) and that was my goal of at least getting that score, and now I have to start all over, so I feel your pain!
I'm a little afraid right now to open up Dairy Dash and see if my score there is gone too. I cna't believe this could happen, it's really disappointing, to lose completely lose your scores when it wasn't even us who did it.

I was so curious, I just opened Dairy Dash and still have my previous scores, thank God! So hopefully your game is fine too.

Yeah, my Dairy Dash is fine as are my other games. That's never happened to me before. And I hope it doesn't happen again!

Level 6 help

I figured out what the heck is going on with the shoes I end up with. It seems when I go to pick up the tips, (spools of thread) I end up picking up one of the accessories by mistake. I think it's just being that close proximity that it does this. This game is maddening! LOL Of course, I don't even click on the accessories. When she runs around, picking up the tips from the floor, isn't just so deemening. LOL poor girl!

I finally managed to clear the first town, (it wasn't easy!) Of course I'm still having a hard time making expert. This is a game where I'm going to take my time playing, as I can only stand to play a few levels at a time, without wanting to toss my PC out the window! LOL

Ohhhhhh! So that's why you were running around with a box of shoes and no one to give it to!! That's hilarious!! (Not to you, I'm sure!)

I'm replaying Pet Shop Hop very slowly - only a few levels at a time. I really burned myself out on this game cuz when I got it I played nothing else but that for days on end, and now I can hardly stand to play it! Maybe there'll be something good come of losing my game; maybe I'll have a better score this time around. I better, darn it!!

Level 6 help

Pinky, I feel your pain, trust me, I know exactly how you feel. It really stinks. I've only replayed a few levels myself, as it's just not that enjoyable now. It also happened to other poster in the DDHH forum, so it wasn't just us. I had a top score, and even though my old score is still showing up under the score area, of course, I have no way of adding to it, as my orginial game was wiped out. It really stinks, that's for sure. I just wonder how on earth this happened to begin with. I have no idea if I replay if I'll get as decent as my old score, ya' know?

Last night, I got the bright idea of printing out the chess game screen with DC2, ( yes, I'm still stuck there!) LOL and I mistakely hit the wrong button in error, I just wanted to exit the chess game, and deleted the game from the beginning of that level! Argh! I'm thinking I need a break from these games! LOL

Oh, wow, that's terrible!

I've played DC2 twice through now. I didn't have a problem with the chess game but I know that alot of people did. I think I only played it twice to beat it. All I did was put my cursor on the first tile that blinked and really concentrated. I loss a few men but not alot. Wish I could help you more but that's not one that a walk through is possible. Good luck!!

Thanks, I finally finished the game. The final maze was much easier for me than that bloody chess game! LOL My score wasn't that great, which makes me wonder, how on earth, they come to award points anyway. I actually liked the first DC much better. I'm going to delete the game now, as I don't think I'll be playing again! LOL
