Here are some tips and tricks for Sally's Spa.

- Attendants may be expensive at first, but they are LIFESAVERS. They pretty much knock out a step you have to do. The guy will automatically turn on the sauna so you will not have to turn them on yourself, for instance. It will save you a lot of time. Later on you can actually upgrade your attendants so they will give a heart to the customer. However, it is not really worth your money because customers will usually skip a step the attendant can do, reducing their effectiveness. Just keep them as regular attendants. However the attendant you SHOULD upgrade would be the tea lady. When upgraded, her tea gives a customer a heart AND a patience heart, which is really nice. You can unlock her by buying the tea machine, playing a level, and then she should show up and be buyable.

- You should at least upgrade all your chairs, sauna and jacuzzi to the 2nd rank so they can either make customers more patient or perform twice as fast. After that, it's recommended to upgrade just the waiting chairs, sauna, massaging tables and jacuzzi to the max rank as they will also give customers a patience heart (or even max them out!). Don't worry about the facial and pedicure chairs, they're fine the way they are at 2nd rank.

- You should only get mazagines that is equal to the number of waiting chairs. If there are 2 waiting chairs, there should only be 2 magazines, as the rest will be a waste.

- Whenever you can, upgrade your display stand. It allows you to sell more prodcures, and in turn nets you a bit more money at the end of each day. It adds up.

- It can get crazy at later levels having to juggle around a lot of customers, but at least they made the angry customers more obvious. If they are at 2 hearts or less, they will turn blue and have frazzled hair, and be either depressed or angry. A quick spot of tea will do. As long as you can keep all customers out of that phase, you will be fine. Use the Patience and Heart candles if needed be.

- Here's a good way to attain the expert score: Keep serving customers 'till you cannot move people to their next station anymore. Give the lowest patience customers waiting to check out tea to get their patience up, light the Money candle, and then cash them all out. You'll get a lot of money.

- If a customer is already at max patience (they start glowing and floating) and you have to pick out what they need (what bath bomb they want, for instance), just save your time and pick a netural expression if it's the first one you see. They will not gain or lose a heart. However, with the hot stones you will still have to pick the right one, or they will lose a heart, so be careful.

- The Golden Couple and the Love Birds are two unique customers. They always come in together, and they always leave together, so you will have to move them together from station to station. If a bunch of customers come in and they also come in, it's a good idea to serve them first and get them out of the way. Also, if you click on one of the couple, it will automatically select the other couple as your next action. You can get out of this by right-clicking, but it's better to just do them both at the same time anyway.

- If the waiting chairs are full or if there is no room for The Golden Couple or the Love Birds to seat, they will suddenly get VERY impatient and lose hearts at an alarming rate. Quickly shift people around so they can at least sit down. You cannot serve them tea, either. Once they have sat down they are fine for a long time. Just be sure to give them tea to get them out of the "blue" phase. Keep in mind, however, if one couple gets angry and leave, the other will follow!

Did you know that when you finish the game, and you need to go back and try to get Expert on those pesky levels that you couldn't beat before, that your buddy Nell will work the cash register for you, which can prove to be a problem, since the customers don't back up, they cash out when they get there. Also, has anyone gotten hearts, and a perfect score?, I've got bunches of them, and I don't even know how I did it!!

Haha, I've been out and about, just took a break from PlayFirst to focus on other things. :)

I'm glad to hear that Nell will have a more active role in the game after you finish the game. She's just awesome (and cute!). But her cashing out customers as soon as they are finished? That will probably toss a wrench in attaining a perfect score, but I'm sure I can figure out what to do. I'm currently at the Cruise ship, so I should be finished with the game tomorrow after work.

More Tips & Tricks!

-You can get a perfect score if you sell EVERYTHING in the display stand AND everyone is cashed out with full hearts AND you've attained the expert score. You can tell if you've attained the perfect score when you see a heart plasted on the level.

- If you want to attain a perfect score but the product demand is not helping (everything will only sometimes sell, for instance) just go back to an earlier level (like 1-1) and finish it. It will change the product demand. Just keep changing 'till you find one you can easily meet (products will always sell), it will make attaining perfect scores a lot easier on you. :D

- If you only get a normal score, or an expert score and want to go for the perfect score, it's a lot easier to just continue on and get better upgrades and THEN attempt the earlier levels. The upgrades will STILL be there, therefore making it MUCH easier to get expert and perfect scores.

- When you're selling products and customers walk in, don't immediately pick them up and move them to the next station they request. Just wait, and they will usually walk over to the product stand and purchase something. You should only immediately move customers to the next station if you have nothing left to sell.

Okay, Here's my dilemma!!

I have finished this game and I'm in the process of trying to get Perfect Scores in all levels. by the way you can get a Perfect Score if the people check out with all their hearts and you made expert, but the other trend that I noticed is that you don't have to sell all the beauty products, you just have to make more money!,

Now to get to my problem, I have gotten Perfect Scores on all levels in the first 3 scenarios, but one minute you can see the proof of it than I go back later to check and some of the hearts are gone!. I wonder if this is a glitch? Any way , I have been working long and hard trying to get all these hearts and it is frustrating to have them disappear on me! Any suggestions?
