Help

I need help on the lab. part. It is where the crazy record player thingy is. I have all but one piece of the hexagon wood piece, I can not find it any where, and I can not find 2 keys for the box that is on the second story by the fireplace, or the one on the top shelf, left side.
I have looked every place in the area, and I can not find it, nor can I move to the down stairs till I solve it..

I found all the hexagon missing, I now can't get how to get or give Marrow the alixar. I love this game, but it is so confusing...

Marrow will guide you however I'll try to help.

Get the bottle of "Plant life elixer" or whatever it was called from upstairs.

Put elixer into scientific thing in the lab. When it turns yellow put it into bottle. Empty bottle into other science thing.

Light candle in fireplace. Put base under other science thing and the candle under that. empty green fluid into bottle and give to plant.
