The Lab

I am in the lab and am stuck. I have the burner, empty bottle and unlit candle. What do I do next. Also couldn't open the 2 boxes upstairs in the gramaphone room. I am suspecting I need to open them before I can finish in the lab. Please help it is driving me mad!!!!

Have you spoken to the plant? He will tell you what to do next. If you still need help, there are several threads here that cover that info. If you look & still can't find what you're looking for, post again.
Also, if memory serves, the remaining boxes only contain dream pieces, so if you can't find the keys to open them, you should be ok.
