Problem in Aveyond2

I follow the walkthrough and reach Two Moon Plains. In the walkthough had mentioned that there would be the squirrel troops in the cave that will asks me to convince the Lord of Soul to let him and his troops leave. But when I reach there, it only asked me to join the troops and didn't mention about Lord of soul at all. So when I go back to see Lord of soul at the Casket Hill. The same as before, he asking me to leave. I also found Cliffs of Remembrance and see the glowing rose, but I can't pick it up.
Another questions is: is it necessary to get the Pheonix Sphere for Iya. I do stole on donation box and even I donate for the rest and complete all the tasks that can increase karma, I still can't get the sphere in BrightWook Forest.

You have to take to blueprints from the old library in Littlerock Plainsr to Thais before you go to Casket Hill. Uthar asks you to bring back a squirrel. When you find the squirrel, he asks you to talk to the Lord of Souls. The LOS asks you to bring the memory rose. Then you will be allowed to pluck it.
It's going to be very difficult to win the final battles without the Phoenix Sphere. You can 1 extra karma point by solving the mystery of the Beast in Ravenwood/Shadow Woods, and another by talking to Great-Grandma Nora's ghost & bringing her an old letter. Hopefuly, that will bring you up to 8 karma points.

Where is Little Rock Plains.

THe entrance is in the southern end of the Land of the Lost.
